I'm a local newport-er and feel in love with Queenie's. Upon walking in, their menu seemed very sparse, beverage wise. I have come in looking for a latte, but there pastries were wonderful. They also had holiday cookies (this time for valentines day) and cute chocolate covered cake bites.
I decided to try one of their homemade energy bars which looked great. After having a skeptical first bite I was amazed. It was moist and had great texture, filled with coconut, cranberries, apricots, and much more. I'm eager to go back, buy more energy bars and try some of their other snacks. Hopefully with more support they will be able to expand their menu and survive in downtown Newport.

Stopped by on my way back from Providence and tried the Energy bar which was awesome. My husband got the LARGE eclair which was kicking too. Good find.
