I'm in absolute SHOCK. Ted and Ruth are like Roy Rodgers and Dale Evans! I've been familiar with them since I was a kid! I'm from the Huntingdon area and always watched the Telethon........I just would've never imagined this in a ZILLIAN years.

I think there's going to be more to come on this. I can't image that Ted acted alone in this whole mess. And I can't help but wonder WHY would Ruth jump the gun and immediately file for divorce before all the facts were in - unless she's trying to save face. You gotta wonder what all is REALLY happening here. Ted and Ruth are so prominent in the community - how many other prominent people are involved that we haven't found out about yet? Hopefully Mr. Ted won't "loose it" too much in case he needs to name some people! And how can he be so delusional now, when he was just fine and dandy for the telethon?!

as a mother the only way I would react this quickly, is if it were my children he was hurting or grandchildren. I'm sure after these many years she reacted the way she saw fit. It does make you wonder why people all of the sudden go delusional????

I've known Ted and Ruth for many years. They are regulars at many of the Film Festivals, especially The Williamsburg Film Festival, Williamsburg, VA. It is difficult to imagine Ted being indicted on any criminal charge, especially these particular charges. But, as a retired Virginia State Police officer, I've seen it all! But, we know as citizens of the United States and under the due process of law that a person is not guilty until proven so in a court of law.

Doesn't suprise me. If his wife was ready to divorce, this must of have been the tip of the iceberg. Good riddance to bad news.
