Riptide BBQ brings ribs and more to Depoe Bay

Riptide BBQ has been open for four months at 433 NW Hwy. 101 in Depoe Bay with a dine-in restaurant , outdoor seating, and take-out barbecue meals and meats.

Finally a place I can get my favorite BBQ food. The ribs are delicious. They even have brisket. Great sides and the smell....Yum!

a BBQ chicken sandwich at Riptide cost me 11.50 and a coke in a can was 2.50..
and the sandwich was crummy and the waitress weighted about 400 lbs.

My Pepsi was served in a cup with ice and my delicious pulled chicken sandwich was on $8.50, where did you eat?

the owner was hilarous
we fed a family of 6 for $70
We took left over BBQ for a late night snack
The restaurant rocks

This s a real BBQ shack like ones back east. The pulled pork was outstanding, my girlfriend had a sausage sandwich, whch was made in-house and was delicious.

We be back for sure

Wow! Not our experience at all!! The food is to delicious and fairly priced, the owners and staff friendly and helpful and let me repeat - the food is awesome! You will truly be making a mistake if you take Craig's advice and pass this place by.

We went to the Riptide on July 3, 2009 and the food was, without a doubt, the WORST. We actually threw it out and went somewhere else. The ribs tasted like gasoline and the brisket was a total disappointment. Don't waste your time.

My family and I had a great BBQ experience at the Riptide. The ribs were wood smoked and were delicious. My kids got their hotdogs and a free cookie from the owner who was a hoot. The kid loved the sharks outside and they provided a Kodak moment for us.
