Woodside teacher faces more charges

This is happening WAY to much. Teachers need to know this is not ok...and young females AND males need to know that this is not right. I am not one to preach full on abstinence, but I do believe teaching self respect, self worth, self confidence, etc. is so important in such young people. But teachers are doing the EXACT opposite...very very sad...

So you are blaming the victim for not being abstinent? Really? Victim means just that. It wasn't consensual so how does the victim being abstinent or not factor in your theory? I've worked with many victims. They don't enjoy the limelight - it is humiliating and they worry that their family will abandon them when they hear the dirty details.

Um, you need to RE-READ what I said...I said I am NOT one to preach abstinence...I believe in teaching other things like self respect and self worth. And I went on to say it was sad teachers are screwing their students instead of teaching them that screwing their students IS NOT ok.

I never once said they weren't victims. They obviously are. It's not ok to have sex with an underage male or female whether it's consensual or not...But I do believe these young teenagers would be less likely to have consensual relationships with these teachers if they were taught to respect themselves and to know that the adult was taking advantage of them and could care less about them.

And if it's NOT consensual and a teacher is raping these students the students need to know it is by far NOT their fault it is the adult who did it to them.

Before you go jumping on me because you MISUNDERSTOOD you would see I agree with you.

I knew Mark back in 1975 when he graduated high school and was going to go to college. I knew his family too. I am soooo shocked to read this. The only strange thing is that he never had any girlfriends and he was good looking. I never could figure that out. I don't know if his mother is still alive but I know it this is devastating to his brother and father.

They leave you defenseless and pretty much paralized..... you fade in and out of sleep......waking up to who you thought was your bestfriend over top of you doing what he should not be doing is very shocking and scary! you go home puking from meds and alchohal and have no choice but to lie to your parents and tell them that you ate soemthing bad.... next day comes and here he comes again with the same plan and alchohal with me still on meds (which he knows). pretty much forced to drink it..... if not he got very angry.... day after day you are scared of this man who you thought was your best friend, is now taking advantage of you day after day a guy you could count on...... not any more! untill you have had enough...... and you go for help... your parents.... PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES!!!!!!!!!! ITS FUCKING HARD!!!! so dont say shit about how he was a good guy and everything cause thats what i thought at first too...... Till its to late! I am going threw thearipy and constand court appointments and hell because of him. so please, think befor you say that "you cant see this man doing this" or anything els related to that phrase because YOU HAVENT LIVED WHAT I HAVE LIVED!!! reply to my message if you want an update on what is going on with the situation because i have 2 courts to go to with me testifying agint him. Looks like you need to reevaluate how you judge your friends and find some new ones. I knew Mark, but he wasn't a friend of mine as I saw right through him and the crowd that supported him at Woodside HS. If I have learned nothing else in life it is that what goes around comes around. EVERY SINGLE ROTTEN PERSON THAT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED AS A TEACHER HAS EVENTUALLY GOTTEN WHAT THEY DESERVE!! Pedophiles do not go after children who's parents or other relatives are at all of their games and practices. They look for the children who are vunerable for one reason or another.
