Local schools urging state to revamp SOL tests

I imagine they do need to "revamp" them especially considering the original SOLs were meant to be applied to home-schoolers as a means to force them back into public school.

Plain fact is the public school types invented a test that they could not pass, because they did not expect it would be used on themselves. Once the test was used on them, then they wanted to change up and "revamp" it.
