I know that in today's society it is over looked or shall we say excepted , not only for the deadbeat dads but the dead beat moms as well . I guess my question is , how can they live with themselves knowing that something so preasious needs there undivided attention . Raising my child without her dad in the picture is less complicated but regardless of what they do these kids see no wrong in someone that they love and look up to .i hope that one day there is a law that's made just for the children . I'm not only disappointed in her dad but his family as well , for not standing up for her . And letting that run away train of a brother lay up , not work , bum money and not even care if he provides for her or not . Sad but true , if u can't trust them u don't need them . I don't even care to be around any of them . The memories have faded as if they never even existed . She's getting used to it ;(

What I know is although. Don't do this, is several of the dads/moms take the lesser of two evils.... The ex goes bat shit crazy and nutso against them and the kids if they get involved... I've seen this happen way to many times... Where they just do everything possible to make them feel like a piece of crap even when they are trying.... Just saying

I have my grand daughter and she is the sweetest smartest and loving child. I will give my life to make sure her egg donor never gets to be alone with her. She tells me things most of the time during our morning cuddle time things that should break a mothers heart cauae it tears me up. She doesnt and hasnt ever did anytbing but bad for this baby and still calls herself a mother. My mom would have beaten us for doing our kids this way. She doesnt or never has had custody and has drawn food stamps hud and get this a tea check... .Who checks this stuff out of all the food stamps she fed her dope head friends.

Well snotcher, I don't really understand what your point is but maybe they are going about showing their love in the wrong way . There is school work , family outings , and just everyday little things a person can do to show the love that's need . . It's a cope out is what it is . If you think they make the adult feel like crap how do u think that child must feel . Grow up and act like the adult . If you love them and show it time will be on your side

I am in the same boat. My x husband is supposed to pay 26 a week in child support and guess what he hasn't paid in almost two years. His family has nothing to do with our child. It's sad but life goes on and he will pay. Just incase he sees this and thinks its him I am talking about I want him to remember it adds up. All that money will help my child sooner than later. And as far as the father role he was never one from the start. Its a shame beer ans drugs are more important than a kid.
