Who are you yo tell me who I am or am not? I am intitaled to my own opinion! If you don't like what I say then don't read it! I say hang him and then hang him again to make sure it was done right!

I am a firm believer: Do unto others as you would have others done to you... Trust me... I was just as pissed as all of you when we heard the tragic news... he is filled with guilt... DO ANY OF YOU NOT UNDERSTAND? He is ready to face his maker... he is NOT looking to be treated lightly... But unlike all the "others" who get off without so much as a slap on the back of the hand because "they didn't mean to"... at least matt is ready to face the consequences for his mistake...
I cannot imagine how your family feels right now. It's awful to lose a child, but in the wake of something preventable, it would be more so. I am praying for your family to find a little peace in the time to come.

To Sandy Tickle,

Let me start by saying that my family cannot even begin to imagine what y'all are going through and may god bless Landyn's sweet little soul. You have our thoughts and prayers during these incredibly trying times. Stay strong and god will guide you through the darkness...

I have known Matt since he was in junior high and I consider him to be one of the most kind hearted and genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Not for one second since I heard the news, not one second, has it crossed my mind that this was anything other than a terribly tragic accident. When I saw his picture today my heart broke even more. He knows he will have to live with this for the rest of his life. Jessica, Jackson and I will always have love for him and we will be there for your family if ever needed. Other than that all we can do is take comfort in the fact that little Landyn is now an angel looking over us...

And to the people on this thread bashing on Matt l have only two things to say. Only god can judge us and be thankful that I do not know you personally.

Stay strong Sandy

I pray every night since this tragic lost of this beautiful baby. I also pray for the father and the rest of his family. I happen to know this is a young couple who loved their daughter more than them selves. I do not judge and I know it was a awful mistake Matt is paying for far worst than any punishment would do. Please people the News and rumors you are hearing isn't all of what led to this.

I can understand to a point how this might happen but...... While I'm sitting at work during the day, my kids cross my mind several times throughout the day. At some point during the day, me and the father touch base and say hey how did so and so make it this morning. As a mother I can promise you this, let my kids father leave them in a car for 30 minutes, much less hours and they would be wishing they were the ones in that car.
I don't know what type of position he holds at the hospital, but I sure hope it's not patient care!
If this had been someone from Garfield or Calhoun I really don't see all these people being so tolerant.
That car must have blacked out windows too, cause how else do you not notice the back seat when you get in. Who was supposed to pick the kid up from day care?
I'm sure this guy is hurting, but this was absolutely ridiculous neglect.

If I was in the position of this mother, I would probably be sedated at this point, or caring for my other children and not posting on Topix. Why don't you just have the forum removed and put your energy into what is really important right now. You will never please or justify this to all of the people so I wouldn't even bother.

Baby Landyn in now in God's hands. Her family needs our prayers. Her father needs our prayers, love & friendships. He has made his own prison for the rest of his life due to this horrible ACCIDENT, and it WAS an ACCIDENT. He needs to be able to forgive himself and heel as much as he can. He does not need Jail, he needs God and help from all of us, in order to heel. Until we have walked in his shoes (pray we never do) we cannot judge him. Those of you that wish bad for him should Love and protect your children and thank God that it was not you. ACCIENTS CAN HAPPEN TO ANY OF US. GOD BLESS MATT AND HIS ENTIRE FAMILY!

My family had the privilege of having Matt, Shelby and Landyn in our home on several occasions.Matt is a fine young man and my heart goes out to him and Shelby. It was a tragic accident and I ask that everyone please not judge. Matt thought the world of that little girl and is dealing with grief that I cannot imagine at this time.
Please everyone be mindful of the families and let's show them how caring and compassionate people we are.

I believe there is a time that u r to be born and a time u r to die. God makes that call. If it was Landyn's time to go then nothing was gonna stop that, wheather it be in that car or in some other accident. I am sorry for the greif and pain this family is feeling and I hope God comforts you ALL. Know that you will all see Landyn again someday and until then she is watching over you. May God keep his hands over you during this time of need. God Bless you Matt and Family.

i AM judging wrote:
I bet if he worked at Jordan's or at Hardee's you know - just the average Joe Blow - they would be ready to crucify him!!!!
And they wouldnt be holding candle light vigils etc either.
It should NOT matter who they are or how much money they make or dont make - a child has lost its life due to negligence!!!
The only good thing that could possibly happen to turn this tragedy into a positive is if people would start something called Layndon's Law.(think thats how you spell her name) It would be this: If you are a daycare worker/teacher/owner and you have a child that is not in the classroom and the parent has not informed you ahead of time of an upcoming absence - do a wellness check and call the parents. It may have very well saved this childs life.
LANDYN'S LAW IS A PERFECT IDEA it would probably save lot's of children, just look at this past week in the whole state.

I have known Matt Tickle since the 6th grade...he was a groomsman at my wedding. I have been close to him and his family for several years, and it is quite obvious to me that the majority of these comments are coming from people who have never met him. He is one one the sweetest, caring men I have ever known and he loves Shelby and Landyn more than anything in this world. A perfect storm of unfortunate circumstances has shattered this entire family; and frankly, people's ignorance and negativity is unfathomable to me. I honestly don't understand how people think they can or should pass judgement on this man....who are we to do that? To err is human, and sadly my friend has paid the ultimate price for his errs. He, as is all who are involved, are immensely torn up inside, and what they need right now are prayers for strength and healing, not some negative comments by uninformed people who have nothing better to do then put their moronic and hurtful two cents on the Internet. It truly sickens me how evil and nasty people can be. I have seen Matt and Landyn together countless times, and his love for her and her love for her daddy was undeniable. I am paying so hard for my dear friend, his family, and his beloved Landyn right now. My hope is that all of you posting ridiculous comments never have to endure such a tragedy and be judged so harshly by people who don't even know you. Rest in peace sweet baby girl, you will be truly missed.
