I have some relatives buried in Robinson Cemetery and would like to get pictures of their headstones. Is there someone in the Newport area interested in helping me? I will pay minimum wage for your time and cover your expenses.

I have heard the cemetery also referred to as Old Robinson cemetery. My family members were buried in 1910-1912 and in 1921.

Contact Patrick at pggrant@sbec.com if interested.

I am in Houston so I am not sure where it is located. A web search gave me the following:
"Robinson Cemetery
"This cemetery is located across the road (south) from the Brandenburg-
Robinson Cemetery in Newport."
There seems to be another one by that name in Jacksonport, and I suspect my relatives are there (members of the Cathey and Grant families) instead of the one in Newport. Here is what I found on this one:
"It was originally the family cemetery of Alexander Robinson, and it was reserved as such by his sons, John A. Robinson and Melville L. Robinson, when they sold the plantation to William D. Williams in 1872.'It is not intended to ... convey ...
the old Family Burying ground,' a two-acre tract in the NW 1/4 of Sec.
22, Twp. 12 N., Range 3 W."
It seems to be off Jackson County Road 273 and has the following coordinates:
GPS Coordinates: Latitude: 35.66140, Longitude:-91.30190

This graveyard has became unused and more secluded over years. I know it's exact location most headstones have been vandalized but some still stand.. It's dangerous also graves sinking. Be careful it's also called Red Eye

You can online and it will give you all the names of the people that rest there. Some of the stones may not be ledge able, in that case they be listed as unknown on the list. I searched Arkansas cemeteries online and it took me too a website broken down by counties, then individual cemeteries. Kinda neat.

Robinson is red eye cemetery it's been a few years since I've actually been out there it's so desolate and just run down that if you don't know where your going you'll never find it. I have some pictures we took for a project a few years back ill look and see if possibly I captured by accident the stones you are looking for
