I am against the continuation of the splost tax. Our "leaders" have not spent the money wisely, so why should we give them more to waste. The list of projects are vague so they can have the freedom to spend the money the way they want to. Please think about these issues before you vote.

We have again voted to extend the SPLOST tax for 6 more years, and I can't imagine why. Our elected and appointed officials continue to waste our tax dollars and we vote to give them more. They vote to build and build without regard to the additional costs of personnel and maintenance. When will we wakeup to the fact that more money is not the answer, but a new approach to providing the services that are truly needed. Let's remember this when our commissioners come up for election in November. We need to vote them all out of office and start fresh.

What are our options? At least Coweta residents and NON residents of the county pays the sales tax. Otherwise property taxes increase on residents only.
