Spokane-area school system sued over ban on religious meetings

A suburban Spokane school system is being sued for $1 over a ban on religious meetings. via Seattle Post-Intelligencer

I also will Pray for the ones who do not approve of such meetings. I thought that in America that we all had the right to speak to who ever we wanted to and to talk about what ever we wanted to without someone tell us we can not. I did not know that "Nazi's" ran the school system and could dictate to our children what they can talk about when it is something good and would not cause harm to others. This is so sad.

I don't think that the school should allow the meetings to take place.

Separation between Church and State.
The school is funded by the State? No church whatsoever.

As a student at East Valley, our school is messed up enough. Why not let kids get together and pray. Considering they were praying FOR THE SCHOOL they should be allowed to during lunch, because it doesn't even interfere with school. And hey, it's a lot better than what they could be doing instead, such as drugs, sex, or getting into all sorts of others problems that that group is praying for!
