Bulloch County School Superintendent Dr. Lewis Holloway said Friday students will not view President Obama's speech about staying in school Tuesday, but some may view a recording of the speech at a later date.

This is a horrifying violation of the public trust. Did the BOE block Bush's "stay in school" speech? Reagan's? No. This is partisan politics at its worst and a disservice to our schools, our students, our teachers, and our community. The members of the BOE should be ashamed, as should the citizens who voted them into office.
