I just have to get on here and say my piece. There are three candidates. Candidate Dezalia: May be a nice guy (I don't know they stick to themselves) but doesn't have a CDL license. Hear he wants out of his current job. Wanted this job for several years but never applied for a CDL licence, required to drive a plow, etc. Candidate Colaneri, nice guy and has been an employee and is now acting super but doesn't have the time to spend on the job. He has many coals on his fire and I don't believe he can handle them all. Then there's Duntley. When Kevin handled the roads, we NEVER had a problem with. He worked ABOVE and BEYOND. When he couldn't get his men motivated, he did it himself. And again, just to clarify, he did not leave mid term. He finished his term to take a job that would help pay for his childs medical needs. You cannot knock a man for that.

I just want to say thank you to all the voters in North Hudson who came out to vote. We have one of the highest turnout rates in the county. We are the smallest but we come out and voice our opinions. This election was about an 80-85% turnout. Normal turnout for town races is about 50% or less. We choose candidates whom we believe in whether they belong to this party or that party. We base our decisions on whats best for our community. Congratulations to Jean Gokey, newcomer. She topped the charts for town council. John, you were a shoe-in even if you had competition. Congrats Ron Moore. Kevin, welcome back. The roads were never as clean as when you were in. Kelly, you put a lot of effort into campaigning and should be commended for that. Jim,
thanks for stepping in as deputy and taking on the responsibilities of deputy supervisor. John and Debbie, you two split the town. It's a tie. The absentee ballots will determine that one.( It still could be a tie). There are eighteen ballots out there. That's the most North Hudson has ever had. Good luck and again, I am very proud of North Hudson. As small as we are, we've shown we care. I've seen everybody come together when needed and hope it stays that way.

Daily Horoscope for November 30

Cancer

The nurturing Moon continues to move through your eleventh house of friends and associates, possibly bringing a mentor into your life. There is always much wisdom that can be gained by observing the lives of others; you can avoid certain mistakes by watching them made by others. In this case, you may be faced with financial or sexual issues as Jupiter shakes things up in your eighth house of sex, money, and power... if the stakes are high, you need to think twice.
