Are these kids getting that careless.... how many of this same situation have been in the news lately. Or is the news just fishing for things and this is nothing new? It just baffles me how many accidents there have been in this last week with teens driving. Scary. I hope they all recover quickly.

May the Maker take these young people in loving hand, and help their' families through the long, difficult hours, days and weeks ahead.

It scares me everytime my 19 year old daughter drives or gets in a car with her friends. I hope I never get the 'phone call'. I feel for the parents and kids invloved in these recent accidents.

parents teach your kids that driving is a privelage and not a right. its the kids fault for trying to drive fast and not having the experiance of driving that long that causes "accidents". maybe the one in Newcastle was a real accident because the road was wet and curvey. but the rest of theses they are almost straight streets.

Why didn't the "Maker" just not let this happen and avoid the whole grief thing and show some real love? Surely these families didn't deserve to suffer.

Sactoman -- this is the only time I'm going to respond to this query, no matter how you choose to phrase it.

I can not offer you any comfort but words.
To answer the question you have brought up, I would recommend that you find a congenial member of Clergy.

This a quote, taken from a book in my personal library --

"Just as the Human immune system requires exposure to microbes and other physical irritants to learn how to respond appropriately to them," Gabi said sternly, "so we Humans, as the blood-stream of Society must occasionally be exposed to the most painful realities of life, in order for Society to remain healthy."
