Kate Gosselin On Island With Bodyguard

What did Kate Gosselin and Jon Gosselin do on the day of their record-setting TV premier? It turns out the battling spouses took separate trips away from Reading, Pa.

I've been defending them, if you want to refer to me as the other one? Lol Ya know, even if they are tv personalities, they're still human and you shouldn't expect them to be perfect. Wouldn't the world be boring if everyone were perfect! I intend to continue watching Jon and Kate +8 as long as TLC carries it.

I think they are exploiting their kids for financial gain and airing their marital problems on tv only adds to the kids pressure - I understand that the Penna Dept of Labor is going to investigate them -

They aren't really anybody, just pseudocelebrities. Angelina holds the #1 slot. Suck on that, Kate, while you're sucking on your lollipop.

Kate is a wannabe celebrity. That show is her cash cow. Okay, so it's expensive to raise 8 kids -- but geez, it's so clear that the popularity of that show has gone to her head.

And Jon?- he looks miserable, most of the time - like he'd like nothing better than to drown his sorrows in a bottle or two (and apparently, he's been spotted doing just that!).

If Jon is going to go clubbing, he really needs a "helper" to help him get safely home. If the show will provide her with a bodyguard and helper girl, why doesn't Jon get a designated driver or chauffeur? He just doesn't rate like Kate. All of her success is making him feel less than. She does the book signings, the public speaking, the appearances, etc. He's just someone to babysit while she is off being fabulous. She is just too busy being fabulous.

It's also probably true that Jon hired a private eye to find out the truth - and THAT's when he turned to Little Debbie, after he knew Kate was done with him.

So, now, Kate realizes that the public blames her for being so sh*tty to Jon - and that's why she's boo-hooing.

Maria Shriver has kind of gotten herself into a pickle. Maybe Kate won't go or maybe they can find some way to get her out of that conference. Will she have a bodyguard with her? You betcha. It won't be her husband either.

I've read that he again joined Kate when she took her boys to a dude ranch. There's a sneak preview of Kate and the boys on horses. They film to where you don't see Steve, but he's often in the photos.

Kate thinks it is harmless to tell her kids to aim at the paparazzi and shoot. I hope there are no real guns in the house.

It's not about looks, but if it were, Kate would win hands down. It's about responsibility. It is reported that the two older daughters, Mady and Cara, called Kate and said they felt uncomfortable with the touchy feely games Jon was playing with the babysitter. This idiot has to do this in front of his kids? I seriously think Kate should take full custody of the kids because Jon's behavior is unacceptable.
