Cork N Cleaver. I used to work there. They have great service, atmosphere, food, and all around great place. Not very many kids if any, one of the best salad bars. All but 1 steak (the Flat Iron) are hand cut and cooked to perfection. It's a few bucks more than going to Texas, Logans or any other of them chain places. Go there and enjoy yourself. It is off Hebron between Lincoln and Bellemeade

Sorry, I misread your post. I thought it read streak. Sorry. I would say longhorn or Texas Roadhouse. I would rate those places one notch higher than cork and cleaver because C&C does not have a large selection of sides. Good luck with the kids part.. This is no clue or culture evansville.. all the people know how to do is replace their meaningless existence with their filthy fat headed unruly cracker spawn to take their place at working unskilled factory jobs and watching horrible network sitcom TV until father death calls.

All she asked was a good place to get a steak without a bunch of children. You go on a rant that makes you look like an idiot.

Is it a she? I thought it was a dude and we were just all shooting the breeze like at the bar. Just going for laughs, don't overreact. Sorry if I hurt your feelings. If I would have known it was a she I would have made tube steak jokes instead.

I am sorry for my low brow comments. It is very uncommon to find a serious post on topix. I swear I did not mean any harm. C&C is a great place to eat, you will love it. I have been many times and have nothing but great things to say about it. The food is delicious and the staff is awesome. You will enjoy it and want to go back. Sorry again.

Haub House is the best steak in the area. I like it better than some of the famous steak houses nationally like Ruth Chris, Morton's or Shula's.
I LOVE Steak

I am not impressed at all with Haub Steak House. I do prefer Cork over all the local places. Western Ribeye is good also. The national chains are a joke!

I work at Cavanaugh's and they by far have the best steak. Very expensive but worth it.
