Yes, Im sure..no longer taking cash paying clients..
You have been so MISINFORMED! there has been NO mention of them no longer taking cash patients! But it is ILLEGAL to take a cash patient who has Private Insurance or and type of Medicaid!! It is a real shame that you all must resort to trash talking on topics you surely don't have a clue on. Before you start trying to flash knowledge, you should check your facts first!!

Does anyone know anyone whom is a patient at Med-First tht has voiced a concern of continuously given a "back injection" with the wrong type of medication? Later find out that the medication they were given through injection, and the dosage and name of medication wrote in the patients chart were 2 totally different medications? When first started recieving injections, my friend was never told that they needed back surgery until later findings led them to the information that the injections they'd been receiving and the medications that's been charted were not the same medicines tht was delivered into their body, and now after all the injections tht should have been helping hasn't helped any and was told that they are gonna have to have a back surgery! HAS ANY-1 ELSE WENT THROUGH THIS??????

I have been going to Med 1st for about 3 months now. They x-rayed my back and properly diagnosed my problem. I have gotten the back injections and haven't felt this good in almost 8 years. I'm not sure what the qualifications are for giving the injections but they don't hurt and they offer laughing gas when they do them. I am grateful to Dr. Crowley and her staff for the treatment I have received there. I know we all have different experiences and opinions of doctors. I can only speak from my experience and I don't have a problem with anything there. I hope they can continue with my injections because they work for me. Qualified or not I personally don't have a problem with the injections I have gotten there and hopefully can continue with them. Just an opinion from a satisfied patient.

As a 28 year old male, I have a herniated disc(L5) and 3 hairline fractures in C6,7,8. Also with beginning Scoliosis(with x-rays, and multiple MRIs to prove this). I have lived in Evansville for going on 5 years and have never been Judged, or discriminated against like I have been in Evansville. I have lived in a lot of states, mostly West Coast. I have sleeves on both arms( I know, maybe i should have thought of the future before doing this, but what is done is done). I have yet to find a Physician who actually will listen and try to formulate a treatment plan with me. The first words out of the 3 doctors i have seen in Evansville are, "we do not write pain med prescriptions". I am not looking for that I want a damn Doctor to listen and help me. SO anytime i see people selling or misusing meds or the medical care they receive it infuriates me. Especially when they are on medicaid or medicare, because I am footing the bill for them. I myself do have insurance, yet cannot find a doctor who cares about a patients well being anymore. If anyone could possibly recommend someone to me that would be great. Thanks

Writing a script has nothing to do with Ky or Indiana. Patients with Kentucky Medicaid are the ones being cancelled and referred back to their Prinary Care Dr. As for scripts being filled, you will have to fill them in Indiana.

I suggest that you contact either St. Mary's or Deaconess Physician Finders to see what physicians are accepting new patients. Some independent doctors still exist that are quality Doctors, like Perkins, Brackett, Hasemen, Inzerello and Jackson. When you schedule your appointment cover the tats with a long sleeve shirt, first impressions do matter, and don't ask for a scheduled drug right off bat! Don't call for refills early, and fill all scripts that are written, not just the narcotics. Doctors don't want to add another headache they have enough with all the changes that are coming on the business side.

What kind of "plan" for alleviating pain do u plan to make? That sounds a little silly if u ask me! Either take meds for the pain or do physical therapy, other than that, what other "plans" are there?
