I've been to Med 1st for treatment of my bone/nerve disease and quickly switched to Comprehensive Pain Center on the Westside. I see Dr. Francis McDonnell and I'm very pleased with the care I receive there.

Well I think it is good that they drug test people, especially people on medicaid. I say notify medicaid when the are taking illegal drugs so they can keep these people from using my tax dollars. some of us work for a living!!! Get a job!!

I go to here for my low back pain from a wreck a few yrs ago. The low back shots lower my pain from a 9 down to a 1 or a 2! Dr crowley is a little rough around the edges but once you get her trust she is an good person and ive known her to go above and beyond to help her patients out. As for everyone freaking out about the drug test...its pain management not a candy shop! drug testing is a standard of care in pain managemnt and they are only doing this to protect their license from the DEA plus they do this to help prevent crackheads from overdosing because if you have 3-4 different meds in your urine, odds are you prolly dont need the norco this place is gonna give you anyway. FYI... dont let crowley catch you in a lie or trying to show up unless its your scheduled appointment time. ive been in the waiting room before and heard her chew people up and spit them out for showing up for appointments at the wrong time or day. And that ashley chick is crowleys main sidekick, dont piss her off either!

WOW you are very judgmental. My husband goes to Dr. Crowley for back injections because he has Degenerate Disc Disease in his back.. he works 60 hours or more a week. He owns a painting company and has worked as a painter for over 10 years. You sound like a small minded idiot to make a blanket statement and generalize an entire group of patients like that. And based on what facts? You are very judgemental ...no one person is better than another and its not your place to judge, you aren't God. Chances are everything you described these patients as is really how you feel about yourself. And I'm not saying there aren't ppl who are unemployed or abusing the drugs that go there because that would be naive of me to think that but not everyone that goes there is unemployed etc. There are a lot of wealthier old people that go there too,. Think before you speak BC you sound uneducated, ignorant and small minded. Southern Indiana sure does have a lot of ppl like you here. I want to move back to a big city on the east coast where educated open minded people are the majority, not the minority. Smh

BTW, I will pray for you. You are a sad, miserable person. It makes you feel good to put others down. I hope you find Jesus Christ and open your heart to him. He can heal you.

Some of the other pain places give pain block injections & burn the nerves that send the pain signal. These treatments last 2 weeks for the blocks & up to 2 years for the nerve burning. I've never been to med 1st & I'm not saying those treatments are right for all pains(in my case arthritis in the neck & back), but for me, I'm just happier without the pills.

Been going to Med 1st for 1 year now, for neck & shoulder pain, and was given my 1st drug screen a few weeks ago. I was not worried about results. I'm not abusing meds or mixing meds. My only complaint is, I have no insurance. Was only told, "we will be doing a drug screening today." Then received a bill for 437.34 from Millennium Labs for the drug screen!!! I now have a new pain, in my ass! I feel like I've been worked over pretty good. I should have been informed that I would be responsible for cost, and what that cost might be. I will be disputing this at all levels. I had been very satisfied with the care I was receiving, if I am held responsible for this bill, I won't be able to afford to be treated for my actual pain anymore!

I went there once and took all of my meds that are prescribed to me and thought since I'm the patient and she is the Dr that I could trust she would not do anything that would put me in danger as far as mixing meds= 3 days later wake up in ICU...
