Strippers are a diverse bunch. Some do it for $ to do drugs, others do it just for the thrill. I knew one that did it cause she was a nympho, another girl did it to pay for college. Just like most professions, people are there for different reasons. It takes all kinds.

I'm not a guy, but used to dance. I started out doing it because it was an easy job while going to school. I ended up doing it for around 4 years. Complete waste of a life! I have kids now and hope like crazy they never find out. If it is something you can tell your patents, grandparents, and children proudly, go ahead. I on the other hand i am ashamed I did it, and can only move forward, keep my head up, and teach my kids the error of my ways...that is without them knowing that I know from experience. Plus this is Evansville and there is no real money to be made in Evansville, although my experience is from over a decade ago. Go to school, get an education and be better than that.

Wow we have the same story lol
I'm always worried it will come back to haunt me!! And I would die if my kids ever found out. I last danced 12 years ago here locally. I made ok money but its not worth it in Evansville. Once my uncle came in and I had to hide lol!!

I think that it would be very difficult to be in that environment for any length of time and not become very jaded. If you do decide to strip I would avoid doing it in your hometown. At least if you are stripping it"s not as likely you will encounter a neighbor, uncle, former teacher or priest. I also think that you can probably escape some of the strip club trappings if you don't live where you work. Income at clubs in Nashville, Indy, Chicago, St Louis, Louisville or Cincinnati probably would be greater. Set your goals and get out as quick as possible.

It depends. For a lot of girls who strip, yeah it's a job, but it's also their lifestyle. There are exceptions. I'm talking to one who is a wonderful mother an it's just a job. She is very smart and makes a great living for her kids, but when she leaves work, she leaves her work there. Cracks me up how people on here stereotype all strippers.

Girl, I love it. You posted a legitimate topix thread and still lured an a*hole. Don't worry, people get bored and try and get a rise out of people.

I say try and make working out a couple thing. Make it fun by taking walks or jogs or outings that require activity.

I'm not big on strippers. I've been to a few strip clubs in my day and it's decent entertainment when you're in the mood for that. But I wouldn't take one home to meet my mom or get involved in a relationship with one. That's just my personal opinion.

It depends on which head is doing the thinking part. Top head says "nasty hoe" and the lower head says "please blow"

It depends on how she presents her self. Some are really classy and some are really skanky. I have dated dances in the past and you just have to know what your getting into. But from experience most of them just want the attention.

I am in somewhat the same boat. I had centerfold pictures taken for several magazines like Bike Lifestyle, Hot Rod, In the Wind and Playboy (Hometown girls). At the time my daughter was in school and it was some great money and I only exposed my top half.(To this day I believe the pics were very tasteful-NOT porn like at all.) But when my daughter was in high school one of the boy students brought a copy of a magazine to school. They would sing to my daughter (her name is Jessica) "Jessi's Mom has got it goin on" in the tune of Stacy's Mom. She was embarrassed and it also was a time in her life where she had a crush on a boy and when he mentioned her mom and didn't take notice of her, she was hurt. I felt awful for her. Now, she is older and proud and wants to show it to everybody. I, on the other hand would like to "sweep" that part of my life under the rug. And I am not sure how my current job would treat me if they seen a copy. It's hard to use experienced reason when you are young and don't realize what some of the repercussions may be.

my experiance has been they are generally low class, poor, not real bright (but ever notice they are all going to college never graduate), seems they all smoke, apparently dancing nude for anyone with a few bucks doesn't bother them or their men, so in general don't think much of them but do like to look at them!

mmmmmmm? Let's see you object to being called nasty and hoes but you admit that you get money all day everyday from men to take off your clothes for them? Interesting post you made. Just a question does it not bother you that anyone can walk in and watch you get topless in front of them, then watch you crawl on stage to pick up dollar bills? Seems like a terrible way to make money. I mean really how nasty is it to have anyone who wants to see you naked gets to for very little money, and can't tell me there are not some nasty nasty men out there that you are rubbing that butt on.
