Remember people use to buy clothes like babyphat, eve's fetish line, jay-z rocawear,
Nelly's applebottoms , etc
Can they make a comeback?
Would you wear them if they tone down the patterns ?

Back in my day it was Fila track suits. Where can I get those or something like it now? All I can find is Adidas and Velour knockoffs.

In the early 90's when I was in grammar school.. I rocked Karl Kani, Cross Colours and Damaged. It was the look at the time. As with anything, times change, fashion moves forward and people's taste in clothing change.

This was around the time when young boys were being murdered over Jordans and Starters jackets.

All the "urban" brands are logo'd up, loud, and just tacky. If most of those brands would stop covering their clothes in logos, they would be decent. I like how babyphat's jeans fit, but I'll be damned if I leave the house with a big gold glittery cat plastered on my ass.

But back then it was the in thing to let people know what brand you were wearing. Today, people like to dress simple and clean.I don't even care about brand anymore. It's about style today, not name brand.

Is Coogi the tacky sweaters Cliff Huxtable used to wear on the Cosby show? Who makes good low key track suits without logos plastered all over?

Seriously.... Urban Brands focus too much on being trendy.... trends=fads... and fads eventually die.... none of them want to evolve or focus on evolving... and none of them put quality or originality in their clothes.... and on top of that... the people who own these brands.... don't even wear the clothes... they wear the real designers.... but the only thing good about them is that they are made available to the masses who will buy them...

I used to were a lot of FuBu, Ecko Red, Baby Phat, Coogi dresses and jersey dresses lmaoooo! Memories! But I hope none of that mess ever makes a comeback, let it stay in the 90's and early 2000's! Remember when guys were rocking the throwback jersey's and velour suits! Oh lemme shut up, i'm showing my age.
