For all you idiots who think Jesus wasn't or isnt the true God of love then one of you smart educated people answer me this. If everybody in the world followed the actual teachings of Jesus, then tell me where would the evil, wrong, or harm in this world come from? Ok I'll answer for you..THERE WOULDN'T BE ANY! No murders, rapes, killing, fighting, and that means no reasons for guns, lawyers, prisons, wars, etc etc. Now, lets continue to act like Jesus aint real. You may now continue with your regularly scheduled program of living like Jesus aint real, but please if your gonna hate someone or something. Hate the fact that so many people never have taken time to ask themselves the simple question I presented above.

Obviously he wasnt in the heart of the killers, maybe you should read what I wrote above. Its a very simple question with a very simple answer. By the way I'm not a rocket scientist I just read the new testament once..lol

Uhh...
Have you heard of the Crusades??

People kill FOR Jesus all the time.

Religion is what pulls people apart the most. Religion tells you that people are different from each other. To kill people if they don't follow its rules. No, thank you. I don't have religion in my life and I have great morals- treat people with respect.

Its very valid, but instead of dodging the question why dont you answer my question? I gave my answer but for all the rocket science bible bashing send a man to the moon big bang theory's, I have yet to read upon a educated rebuttal against a simple question which I stated above.

If you ever read about Jesus you would know he was spiritual and by all means not religious. In fact they killed him because he was not religious. I have read about the crusades, and many others who have killed in the name of Jesus or their God. That is why question says if people actually followed the teachings of Jesus. Those people killed for their own purposes and used Jesus as an motive for their actions, but we all know Jesus got mad at Peter for trying to defend him and all Peter did was cut off an ear. So that is why my question is directed toward the actual teachings and not the lunatics who tarnish the great teachings.

Ah, thanks for clarifying. Your question is valid- I have a friend at church (Unitarian Universalist) who is a scholar of the historical Jesus- not the "Son of God" Jesus, but the man who lived on this earth and helped out people who needed it. He would be a great authority on this subject- Charles Meny.

If people only took time to ask themselves this simple question. I dont wanna debate anyones belief because everybody has a choice of what to believe. I just think when the question is asked i have yet to hear or read any educated disagreement that shed any light of the question I offer thus making it easier not only for my faith to continue to grow, but also taking a good hard look in the mirror and realizing somethings in life that people are in such a hurry to obtain, in the long run seems like its not worth it. I think Jesus was the son of god for several reasons, but the main reason is because he done what the father of all living things asked him to do. Its amazing how I see the grass and trees die each year, and yet God always brings them back to life. Yet so many cant believe God wouldnt raise his children back to life.
