People that drive like that are selfish. They endanger other people. So, when an idiot drives like that sometimes they kill someone else, and ruin the lives of their family and friends. Sometimes the idiot driver dies and their family and friends are left to mourn. That type of driving is absurd, and surely enough he is already driving again.

180 tops my old record set back in the early 60's when they just opened the road. I wouldn't risk it now with all that traffic. 160 was the tops back then.

agreed, but so are the non destination leagues who go 45-55 in the fast lane. move over people, and let the police officers

I wonder if it is the same low-slung, noisy black car that passed me, doing about 65 in front of the Borough Building on Second Street this week....and again on Broad Street. I sure hope so.

I agree. Shred that license.

he probably got sick of driving behind those people going 50 mph in the left lane on 81. The same ones that don't realize they have a string of cars behind them, yet they refuse to move over. Isn't there a law against that too?

i have never encountered anyone going 45 - 55 in the left lane and i drive 81 every day of the week. maybe if you're going 80 someone going 65 seems like 45 to you

True but even going 80mph in the LEFT lane while not passing vehicles in the RIGHT lane is against the law. The law doesn't mandate what the speed requirements are per lane (the whole highway, including both lanes, has a speed minimum of 45mph during normal conditions).

However not passing a vehicle, pacing, or cruising in the left lane are all violations under PA State Law. And yes PA Troopers DO and WILL cite you for such actions. Impeding the flow of traffic, improper lane usage (and if an emergency vehicle was in the left lane behind you... expect a citation for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle).

They could only catch one person going over 90 in the whole month? They must have only worked 15 minutes or so in April.
