Stupid is as stupid does.

I bet this person is probably going to vote for Obama, too.

Idiot. Your post says it all. You are the stupid one Only a moronic idiot would take an article about a person (probably elderly and uninformed) who was duped and make a political comment about it. You have to be from Franklin county!

That is sad. Look how much stuff we get in our U.S. Mail and email promising us the moon. Most of us know if it sounds to good to be true, it's too good to be true.
Then there's the ones who will pay someone to do their work.
so sad

If you have to cover the costs then there is no way that other monies are coming your way.

My elderly father lost $18,000 from one of these scams. I never would have imagined this could have happened to him. Someone called him at least once a week over 6 months with the same story and made my dad believe this was his new best friend. He was told he had won money from Australia and needed to pay taxes and documentation fees to transfer the money to the U.S. I actually spoke to this "gentleman" and was told I was a bad daughter because I didn't support my dad in this. I finally convinced my dad it was a scam. These people are very smooth talkers. They know exactly what buttons to push. A lonely, uninformed elderly person is a prime target.

It is important that we educate our elderly so that they don't become victims.
