Newborn survives being tossed into storm drain

An infant is recovering after spending two hours in a Georgia storm drain. The search began after an 18-year-old woman showed up at a Dekalb hospital and said she had just given birth and said she put the baby in a trash can or dumpster near a service station.

What is wrong with these people. There are so many coouples in our country that are having issues with infertility that could have adopted the child, giving it a wonderful and loving home. They should be charged to the fullest extent of the law. It is a baby not trash to be tossed in the garbage without any thought.

Lord help up! These parents are kids that apparently were desperate. What kind of neighbors are we that no one was/is a role model, parent, mentor for these kids. They are not criminals. They are young, dumb and surrounded by older people that are stuck on stupid./////////

I HOPE THEY GET CHARGED W/ EVERYTHING POSSIBLE!! we have 3 kids and i could NEVER imagine doing that to them!! I was 18 with my 1st but took care of my responsibility, if they didnt want to have a kid then they could have taken him to a safe place such as hospital or fire station, or at least givin the baby a chance and put him up for adoption! this story breaks my heart and makes me hug and kiss my kids even more! its unbelieveable what some people will do, to their own flesh and blood!
