We have always used last names with endings ovski/oski/vci and those names in the past used to have wider meanings as an identifier for a certain clan or large family living in a certain area , usually for the local petty nobility. That name was inheritable and was given by the name of the person founder of that clan/family or it described their social status or the geographical location . The second name was more specific ,usually it was the name of the father and it ended with /ov . For example , Stojan Stojkov from the Stojkoski
