Is it just me or are they rude there? When I first set up an account they were very rude.
If I have to call they are rude. What is up w that? Just because you have a city position does not mean you are god.
How about some manners and some pleasant talk instead of acting like you are doing us a favor?
People just are not friendly.
HEy if you don't like your job there there are plenty of people who can replace you!

Some people can't leave their home life at home. They are normally polite to me but I do get a sense of unhappy with their job.

Thank YOU! I just think its a shame. It seemed to me they kind of go out of the way to be rude. I don't get it. We are THEIR customers. But I have noticed not many do say thank you much either. Hard times for everyone.
Just try to smile and be decent to each other.

They are very rude, and the only solution is to ask for thier supervisor and complain everytime that you are in there and they behave rudely. Often times we complain about a situation and that it is not being resolved but we do nothing to improve it. If thier supervisor got enough complaint he would get tired of the interuption and fix the problem.

I just think a smile and a hello would be nice. Or maybe even a thank you! Instead you get treated like a bum. The first day I signed up for water, the girl who did it was VERY rude. What is the problem? If they don't like their jobs there are plenty who will take them. Who exactly do you contact about this? Mayor?

In the Kingdom of KW- Rude is GOOD - If they (CITY HALL WORKERS)were nice to people, more people would move to Newbern. and those people may have enough common sense not to vote for him and his chosen ones. P.S I'm not here to bash ALL City personnel. I think the public works & library people do a great job.

All of those women have been there a long time, before K. W. was elected. I'm sure he would appreciate your comments though. Next time somebody is rude ask where his office is and go see him. If somebody would say something personally I'm sure he would address it.

You just said it. They have been there a long time. Maybe too long. If a person in the city's own companies can't even smile or say hello something is wrong!

Hey if they were these so called GOOD CHRISTIANS then why aren't they sticking to that golden rule? It is not THEIR water. Its not coming from their pockets. I think they should all be fired and replaced w some new faces and friendlier people!!!!!

That is the problem. They are most likely going to stay in that job til moss grows on em. I know if I HAD a pretty good job like that I would at least appreciate it. If they don't then they should work at Sonic. Even they could give them lessons in how to be nice.
