Does any one know the new woman at the library (Josie)? Didn't know they were hiring?

Josie has been there as a volunteer for years. She is Janice's niece. Very helpful and bright.

I do know if she is a volunteer or not but i do know she is annoying and she will yell you that she works at the library but in actuality she does not get paid to be there.

Some people just like to get on computers and run their mouth because they are too scared to do it face-to-face. Someone said it best when they stated that "the Internet has bred a generation of cowards."

On the subject of the library, it's probably one of the best run that I have ever been to. The staff is friendly (though, not always the "shush shush" stereotypical types) and will help you with anything they can.

I completely agree. Newbern is lucky to have the library they have.

I would imagine that volunteers are allowed to do things like that. By the way, you don't have to capitalize every word in your post. People will still read it but when you do things like that it shows your true ignorance. It's kinda like shouting when talking in a normal tone of voice will do just fine.

When you volunteer there, you use the computer behind the counter. Its where your supposed to check books in and out of the system. If she goes to use the internet, she uses the same computers everyone else does.

The only gal there that I have a problem with is the frizzy haired troll of a women that feels she has to slop sugar on everyone (if she deems them important). She's nosey and loud or sulky and quiet. Your business is her business, and then its everyone's business.

Well compare it to the one trimble has. Based on the size of Newbern, it's a decent small library.

Josie is a volunteer because family members of the librarian can not be hired by the city. She does volunteer often. In that capasity she is allowed to use the computers behind the counter. I know this because she is my cousin and Janice the librarian is my aunt. And it is a very good library. It has improved my leaps and bounds over the last few years.

I think as long as Mrs.Peevyhouse is happy with the performance of her employees, and they all get along she and all of the city of Newbern should be happy.I have no complaints and I go in there on a weekly basis. The women that work there are all always helpful and nice, isn't that the point.I don't know much about the volunteers, but I like the women that work there.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Aquarius

If you're still happily munching chocolates and all sorts of other goodies, you'll have to take yourself in hand at some point during the coming fortnight. Maybe you'll have to compensate for all the festive over-eating by taking more exercise or cutting back on the calories, or perhaps you'll decide that you can't delay giving up smoking any longer. As Mercury turns in your twelfth house of secrets, messages you receive at this time may be very subtle or contain hidden meanings meant only for your understanding.
