Is this the equivelent to sexting? Our laws ned to be changed to keep up with the technology and so in certain cases of sexting kids are not labled sex offenders or on the registry.

Well, why don't we just slap his little hands and say no. I certainly hope something more severe than being released to his mother is in the future for this sick individual. If he isn't stopped now before this sickness moves to the next stage, touching little kids and ruining their innocence is what his future holds.

I have to agree with coffeeready. If all this is is some teeny bopper breakup gone wrong, than this is a waste and taking things too far. Yes, let the dad beat him up, but, These are kids. We are supposed to "TEACH" them whats wrong. Whats next, registering a 3 year old as a sex offender if he walks into a girls dressing room?

what would you want the consequence to be if it was your child and all you could picture in your mind was some gross hairy perv whacking off to it? those pics often become viral - extending places beyond which you can delete them.

I would like to know where his parents were? I mean I live in Wayne County. And my 12 year old daughter goes on my computer all the time but I watch what she does. I have been told that I'm to controlling by alot of people. But kids need to know that they are being watched...

I think parents don't have enough handle on their teens these days. Remember when we had to be on the porch when the street lights came on?

My kids' teachers think I'm nuts because I actually check their homework every night before they go to bed to see that it is done WELL. Because I go to parent-teacher conferences when their grades are good. Because I ask how they can improve even though they already have a 93 average in a class. Because my children see that I value their education, THEY value their education. They are required to be involved in one after - school activity every quarter. I don't care what it is as long as it is something they love doing. I know where they are and who they are with at all times. I monitor their internet activity. and NO TEXTING...it's an unnecessary distraction from the real world around them. Why have your head buried in a cell phone all day - even when your friends are with you?? on family vacations?? parents need to develop better relationships with their kids so that they CAN tell when something is wrong. Sure, once in a while, they say something like "It's not fair, everyone else is ...." My response is usually "Name one kid you'd actually like to trade lives with". They can't. We have a great family life that includes values, work ethic, discipline ,and love.

An excellent post; well written. Took the words out of my mouth.
I agree with everything you wrote. A return to some more traditional values would be nice. Of course, we will be eviscerated for advocating such ideas.

Concerned - you need to keep up the good fight. Your child's future depends on it. I try not to listen to other people when it comes to raising my kids. Mostly because I don't think "the others" are doing such a hot job of it themselves.

I had a friend whose 15 yr old daughter was dating the class jerk. The mom said to me "It's not like I can tell her who she can or can't date." I thought to myself self "WHY NOT??"

If corn-holing is a crime, then guilty I shall be!!

Give me corn-holing, or give me death!

Ask not how your country can corn-hole you, but how you can corn-hole your country!

I have a Dream! That someday a man might be judged not on the color of his skin, but on the strength of his corn-holing!

Once again, your nerves are getting the better of you. There will be some fraught moments unless you can control your temper and not get drawn into verbal fisticuffs at the drop of a paper hat. It won't help if a partner is feeling neglected as that will give you something else to worry about. You need to relax and start enjoying yourself!
