Lack of child's car seat leads to homicide charges

The childs mother should also be charged in connection to her son's death.She was there and she should'nt have let her children get in the car without carseats.She's just as responsible as the teenager.

i feel like it was an accient i knew them all they are my family yes it was wrong for besky to put shamar and shamya in the car without setbelts but it was a mistake..i love them all..miss you shamar...we love and miss you!!!

I have family in Geneva. I pray that they don't send her to jail over this accident. I'm sure that the death of the child will be with her for the rest of her life. I just happen to be browsing the net and came upon this article. I was born in Geneva; but have lived all my life down south. I will call my Aunt Bertha and Uncle Welt to get mor info. This or something simular could happen to anyone, so don't be so quick to judge.

Its a shame that the police are losing their human side.It seems that if you can make a objct lesson out of some;one any one will do.The enforcers seem to leave little lee-way for any innocent mistakes.The other side,is that the money assessed for fines,will benefit the city,county,and state.With the law in todays world,everyone is a new criminal,without a choice,of even wanting to break the laws.

It is the law and should be enforced. It is the responsibility of the parent to ensure that their child is properly supervised and supplied with the safety equipment required by law. It is the fault of every person who was standing there and allowed that child to be placed without a carseat into the car. I am sorry for the loss of this precious child...yes, it will haunt this mother for the rest of her life but you cannot take chances with your children it was her choice to allow this to happen.
If you entrust your children in some one elses care you are responsible for that choice and must be held responsible for your actions....unfortunately the worse possible outcome happened and it is not a lesson I would ever want to learn.

A CHILD IS DEAD BECAUSE SOMEONE WAS IRRESPONSIBLE ENOUGH TO ENDANGER A LIFE BY NOT USING A CARSEAT. THIS IS NEGLIGENT. I USED A CARSEAT WAY BEFORE THEY BECAME MANDATORY, BECAUSE COMMON SENSE SAYS PROTECT THE CHILDREN. AND YES THE MOTHER IS EVEN MORE GUILTY IF SHE ALLOWED HER CHILD IN THE CAR WITH NO CARSEAT.

they both should be charged it may have been a mistake but that mistake took the life of a child. tell me how all of these people get away with it. look at all the mothers that left there kids lock in a car and the child died.(it was a accident right) i don't believe that. should they go free to? let me tell you as a parent you are supposed to keep your child safe. a child does not know what is going to hurt them. that is a parents job. don't have kids if you cant keep them safe.

i dont have kids but my girlfriend has a car with electric locks that sometimes lock themselves with no warning. bite your tongue Mother of 2 it could happen to you.
