Where's Berkely and the I-Team cameras, challenging this 17 yr old to a duel? I figured he'd want to be the first to tell the kid, that the victim died and he (Berkely) has decided to sentence the kid to probation and house arrest. The freaking DRAMA channel.

May god rest this mans soul. He and his family have suffered a tragedy. I hope that the "kid" that ran the stop sign answers to more charges!

There is a lesson to be learned by all...Slow down and stop...IS that extra 30 seconds going to make you later than you already were? Probably Not!

For you that don't know this man was a DNR so do to that very little was done to save his life. I'm sorry for the family as well as for this young boy that has to live with this the rest of his life.

How do you know he had a DNR? Were you there when he signed it? Do you know the family? That kid ran a stop sign and yes he has to live with it the rest of his life. And running a stop sign isn't something I would go and brag about. STOP means STOP! This kid needs to go back to driving school and learn what the various road signs really mean. Stop sticking up for someone who has done something terribly wrong. That's just sending a wrong message to our teenagers who already think that they can do no wrong!

I DO know the family. If you knew any of the rest of the story, you would stop spouting off. He had severe head trauma. The MRI showed brain dead and he was on a respirator. So, don't say there was little done to save him! You don't have a clue! Maybe you could find some power greater than yourself to ask for some sernity for the families! Both families! Then work on some of your own flaws of character!

This kid should be charged with murder. He ran a stop sign, breaking the law and it resulted in the death of this poor man. As for how many people run stop signs...that is just lame. News flash most responsible people stop at stop signs, use their blinkers, and they even turn on their headlights when it gets dark. Imagine that....people being responsible and concerned enough for the safety of others as well as themselves to follow simple rules of the road...gee what a concept. I feel terrible for the family of the man who died. People keep saying this kid has to live with this for the rest of his life...I say at least he gets to live. Which is more than his victim got. Yank his license and chuck his @ss in jail at least he won't run anyone else down.

Well, maybe not murder; I doubt it was premeditated. On the other hand, criminal negligence fits, and it certainly would keep the consequences of his reckless action fresh in his mind.

I travel this road all the time (CR 7) and the intersection of CR 7 and Outlet Road is a dangerous one. Paul never would have seen this kid flying along until he actually hit him.

This intersection needs a flashing light at the very least. I always slow down and look - if I see someone approaching the intersection (I'm traveling north - a little easier to see) I will REALLY slow down in case they don't stop.

There will never be a flashing light placed at that intersection. It took how long to get a red green yellow light at 7 and 96! The Manchester Employee's don't care about you or your family! They only care about fattening their pockets!

Yeah, just like just about any other town around here. A light will go up there when one of these people lose someone they love. It sucks.

"Jugging" him sounds a lot like "corn-holing" him.... NICE!
