Interestingly, according to the newsreel, there was quite accurate knowledge of concentration camps and their horrors already in February 1942. Why was nothing done by the allied airforces to disable the rail network and prevent the transport of prisoners to the camps? There should have been systematic bombings of railroad yards, terminals, stations, maintenance yards, bridges, trestles, etc. In order to have made Germany's war production meaningless, the means of transport needed to have been knocked out! The war would have been so much shorter and far less costly in innocent lives.
