From the article... "Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus boarded the plane and spent almost two hours checking for any sign of a chemical or fumes which might have caused the passengers' illness. After the all-clear was given, ambulance crews were allowed aboard and treated the passengers, who reported feeling "light-headed" and "faint" during the flight. None required hospital treatment." ~~~~~~~~~~ I can't believe that they kept these passengers on the plane for 2 hours after it landed! If there was something in that plane that made them sick, you'd think they'd want to get them out of there as quickly as they could, and keep them in a quarantined area until they found out what it was!

I found another story that said they were still investigating what the cause could have been. So, we'll see.

At last, those pilots who missed the airport last week have a viable defense.'Something just made us faint for an hour!'

I felt faint and dizzy flying from London to New York. It might of been from spending three hours in a bar before the flight and the three vodkas I purchased from the stewardess. It's a stressful job being a co pilot.

they probably all fainted after they found out what the extra costs were to bring a suitcase on board, to get a blanket, a meal, a bottle of water or a visit to the lavatory.

I have never been on an airplane while in flight. On a school school field trip we got to visit Laguardia airport. We went into the hangar and inside a plane I noticed it was small inside and I hated it. I like boats, trains, cars, but will never take air transportation.

I always get nervous before going on one. I say a little prayer before it takes off (God bless the pilot, the plane...) and then once we're in flight, I can't let myself think that there is 30,000 feet between me and the ground. I bring magazines, or I try to go to sleep. When I used to go to Florida by myself to visit the EX, I always sat next to someone interesting, and we would talk the whole way there. One time there was quite a bit of turbulence, and I kept grabbing the arm of the guy sitting next to me. He laughed and not once did I leave nail marks.
