Review: 77 Shoe Repair

I have used this shoe repair on several occasions. On the last one I brought in a pair of sandals whose soles had split. I was charged around $20 to have them fixed. When I picked them up I didn't check properly and the next time I wore them the strap attached to the sole ripped apart. I brought them back about a week later to ask them to repair the strap since they had not done the job correctly the first time. I was told I would have to pay to have the soles split in half again and that it was my fault the strap had come off. I tried to explain I had only warn them once since the repair and was called a liar. My point is if it was obvious to them that the strap would rip off momentarily why wouldn't they suggest to have it fixed originally or let me know they cannot be saved? I work around the corner and would have brought them business for many years to come. Instead they wanted to make a quick $20.
