I'm really glad they let your son out of his special-ed class to see Rent, so he could pass on his incisive analysis. Like father, like son.

Rent is simply didactic ideology passing as art. I am quite proud of my son due to his high academic achievements and independent thinking, and I am confident he brought more insight to it than you are able to.

While I mostly ignore your bitter rants as the lashing out of a sad and angry person, I will observe that I get the impression that you have a really bad relationship with your own father which leads you to such hate and childish resentment. My guess is there are some lifestyle issues that you have not been able place in perspective yet, so you hate everybody who represents a responsible authority figure.

In any case, you have shown that you are not able to engage on the substance of my comments, and chose to attack not only myself but my son--a young man stronger and more intelligent than you can ever hope to be. Your comments speak volumes about you and your intellectual shortcomings, and say nothing about me and my son.

Anyway, take your passive-agressive lisping political handle and know that I see you as you are--bitter, weak, and uneducated. ;)

Yeah, believe me it wasn't the students who were against having Rent be our spring musical. Our superintendent had already okayed the production and announced it to the school. Then like 2 days later there were stories it might not happen. Long story short, our principal is a lesbian and wasn't okay with the story line. Pathetic reason to ban it from the school musical.

it's a crappy show. it deserves to be rejected for that reason alone.

The administrators got themselves into this mess, just like the superintendent of Faribault Public Schools when he shut down the student newspaper Monday.
