hmmmm...well, yes it is true that it is Johnson's fault for running, however with the degree and severity of charges, I do think his bail could have been set higher and/or he just shouldn't have been released at all..but, I'm no police officer or attorney so what do I know right? Man, would someone PLEASE find and catch this guy>?!

Stan, you guys blew it. The guy was a rogue, a very conniving, secretive, dangerous criminal. This was not some white collar offense he was charged with. There was solid evidence the guy was impersonating a cop, restrained a woman and RAPED her. That is a VIOLENT CRIMINAL. You could have found any number of reasons to delay his release, and you know it. There are tactics for that. I hope to heck the guy doesn't hurt anyone else. If he does, you need to explain to the victim why you let him out. Oh, and just so you know, we understand your statement to be the BS it is.

this "wanna be" a man hunt is like a movie in the making! there are 2 states with police, politicians, lawyers, bailbondsman, etc...associates, that should have found him by now. Obviously, he is no where near his ex or present wife-or his children. I doubt he is "traveling around anywhere in the chevy cobalt, at least in PA or MD.- to all that keep up the

It is my belief that this guy will not be found alive. It will be a suicide, either he will be found dead or suicide by cop

I don't have a problem with the bail because that was all before they filed the other two cases. But they should have been tailing him the second he got out to make sure he didn't run.

Hurry-up and catch him so the D.A. can give him A.R.D. and he can avoid having a criminal record like so-many of cops that get special treatment in Pa. after committing serious crimes and somehow managing to get busted.
He can keep all his benefits and even go back to police work again.

Crappy mob-state.

Let's hope that he saves the expense of a manhunt, standoff, and trial...and make it a "do-it-yourself' job. No need to cause torment for his former brothers in blue.

Rebert cannot, will not, and has never been capable of accepting any type of responsibility for anything he, or anyone in his office has done.

Criminals like Rebert, always cover for criminals like Johnson.

It was Stan's office (Chuck Patterson) who defended Johnson's "credibility" from the outset. What does this say about their judgement?

Since evidence has a habit of disappearing from County custody, maybe Johnson is waiting for "the call" telling him it's ok to turn himself in now that the evidence has been "lost".

I still think they should be wiretapped by the feds.

Stan doesn't have time for things like this. He is too busy making sure underaged Dallastown football players get off with nothing.

Do you people really think Stan Rebert is smart enough to pull off some scam like this? It can't be corruption because he's not good enough to make something happen the way it should. It's just plain old bumbling.

By Rebert's own statements at his press conference,
He (Rebert) admits that they immediately made a connection to the York rapes.

At that point in time, because his own office was involved in the bail hearing, he had a resposibility to bring the new charges to the public's attention, or to file the new charges.

Rebert is lying. I don't buy his feable excuses.

Maybe this rogue foot-soldier "knows where the bodies are buried" and that scares the hell out of someone in the D.A.'s office?

In any criminal enterprise, even the lowly 'enforcers' have dirt on the 'Don'.
