Splendora woman charged with murder in nephew's stabbing

Police say a family argument led to the Tuesday night stabbing of a 22-year-old Splendora man by his aunt.

When will the sentencing be? does anyone know?

There has to be a trial first and sentencing will be after that. Since it just happened, I am figuring that it will take several months to several years depending on how busy the courts are. This is assuming that she doesn't plead guilty. If she does, the sentencing will happen soon after the guilty plea.

She probably commented in the wrong article. She is the victim's sister and has been very upset. She probably wasn't thinking. She probably thought she was making a comment in reference to all the sick and insensitive comments made in the houston paper. It can be rather confusing since it is in the, splendora, conroe and houston papers.

Nea was probably just confused. She probably thought she was commenting in the Houston column because that article does have a lot of sick and insensitive comments. She is Jeffery's sister and has just been upset. Myself as well because she and Jeffery are my neice and nephew. So go easy on any comments from family. It is still very fresh. This was a tragedy and will take the family some time to deal with.

yes i was posting my comment on the sick peopple in the houston paper yes my aunt is right this is still very fresh to me .just think i live with his son and have to face him every day and to listen to him crying for his daddy and there is no possible way to exsplain it to a soon to be two year old .i know there is nothing i can do but if there was i would do it in a blink of a eye signing out with i love you brother and we miss you.r.i.p

I did not take any offense to the comment. I just figured that it was grief coming out. I understand how important it is to grieve and it is even harder when it is splashed across public forums. I lost my brother and his family 11 years ago and it is still hard at times. The situation was different, they were in an accident, but I can understand the grief.

I am praying for all involved, especially the young son. My son was very little when the accident happened and it is not easy explaining it to little ones. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
