Since Management didn't tell the Employees or temps the reason they put cameras in the building is my guess so that the Management won't have to go out of the office and risk their health of the cancerous smoke in the air. More machines means more dangerous smoke and high heat. Why doe the company keep Monico in the plant even if they don't want us to use it? I've been there over a year and i can't believe the things they get away with!!I have worked for the Union before i moved to Tn and i think its about time we stand together.

Unions can be good, but unions can also be terrible. If you don't like working there, then you should seek employment elsewhere. You are an employee of asg, so any union that you got would be with asg, not dtr. You are not an actual dtr employee, that is why you do not get dtr benefits etc. Then once you unionize asg, then all dtr would have to do is drop business with asg, and you would be a temp in a union without a job. Just saying. If you are that unhappy or fearful of your health, it's time for you to move on.

That might work up north but not here in little claiborne county where this county run by old money your lucky they let dtr come in here it will never happend not until all the old farts die off the man that let them have the land that dtr on just died a couple of months ago and he was the board president so their one but their many others to go they dont want change here good luck

You drop ASG, You can't put out the parts they need so the car companys go somewhere else and you loose their business and DTR shuts their doors and i just go somewhere else and get a job. Go somewhere else and miss all the action? Fuck no!!!!!You will have to lay me off. I'm not going anywhere.

Have you ever heard of "JUST CAUSE" ? Just because this is a right to work state the company still must have just cause to terminate your employment. You hire a good labor lawyer out of nashville or memphis that works pro-bono and dtr will pay. Or if you think this is retaliation for what you post, get a hold of the us dept. of labor. Remember December 7th 1941. Now thats a fact!

Being "late" for work or "missing a day" (unexcused absence) is "Just Cause" and can get you fired.

Apples and oranges. Education is ultimately state controlled. Yes we have a school board but they must adhere to state rules. Industry however is PRIVATE and can hire and fire at will.

Hey Fact, yes you can get fired for attendance,but they must do it without prejudice. What you do to the pro-union employee, must be done to the company suck-up. You must be a HR person because you sure think you got this deal bagged. Have you ever looked at the NLRB act starting at section 7? It is the employees right to start a union not managements. Have a fine union day!!

You seem to think Union rules apply to non union shops. You are wrong. When I was management just a few years ago a problem employee was short lived. It's really easy to find a problem with their work so that you can fire them and not have to pay their unemployment. F*CK your union.

Well Pete/Temp, a few too many lines has given your identity away. And the word is Monocoat (you really should know exactly what your using before you are responsibile enough to use it). It's just too many people I know that use the word scabby and teamsters. The cameras are called "security cameras" for a reason.....security. Let's see like, protecting your vehicles, cars from being broken into, gas from being stolen, and to watch for drug sales and use on the property. I really don't think they needed to get your permission nor approval to install them. And check the books, all tests are way below what is allowed in the are, yea I acutally checked when I read your lying post. Those that don't like the cameras are either doing something they shouldn't, not doing their jobs or something against the law. Think about it....SECURITY CAMERAS. They didn't need to give anyone a reason, the name simply states the purpose. I'm not sure where you have been, but these type of cameras are at gas stations, banks, grocery stores, the justice center, the tunnel and guess what, they serve the same purpose as the ones DTR has installed. And guess what? There have been security cameras in the Greeneville plant for years. Yep, helped them get theives and dishonest people out the door. I've been there for years and work my 8 or 12 hours and go home, simple. Temp/Pete...you may as well draw a check because no matter where you work, you will be the same sad person you are now.

Hey Temp, Lissa or Lisa was not complaining a bit when the International Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET)union ran the train on her! Like we say, IT'S NOT THE LENGTH OF THE TRACK,BUT THE SIZE OF THE CRACK! P.S. you are right she does have a nice ass!
