He was in an accident yesterday and was air lifted to Knoxville. He was in a horse wagon and the horse ran off and the wagon flipped and turned over on him. I last heard he has broken ribs and head trauma. Was told his brain is swelling and they had to drill a hole in his head to relieve the pressure. He is in intensive care and hasn't responded last I heard.

Stacey is holding his own tonight. No further swelling which is good. He will be in a drug induced coma for 4-5 more days and then will begin bringing him out. Please continue to pray for him and family. We all believe God will heal his body and bring him back to us.

My mother, sister, and I were on the way to Knoxville and stopped at the scene not very long after the accident happened. We did not know Stacy, but my mother is a nurse and immediately responded when she saw him on the side of the road. She stayed with him and helped treat him until the paramedics arrived. We have all been worried about this gentleman and have been trying to find out about his condition since it happened. We continue to pray for him and the family and are looking out for any updates that can be provided.

He is stable tonight. His numbers and vitals are good and is on schedule for the doctors to start to bring him out of induced coma in the next 2 - 3 days. Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. Please continue to lift him up. I will update each evening on his condition.

To the family relative that is updating, THANK YOU SO MUCH. My husband and brother were the first to come upon the accident (litterally right after it happened) and helped w/ Stacy and the horses. My husband sat w/ Stacy and tried to encourage him to hang in there until the medical teams arrived, and then when they did they tried to hang onto the horses until they were taken care of. They (as well as myself) were so concerned about him and how he was doing. We searched and searched online for several days trying to find some info on Stacy and his condition. It was quite a relief to find this page and then to see that a relative was updating. We have talked and prayed for him daily and will continue to do so. Please let him, his wife, and the rest of the family know that they are in our thoughts and prayers. Again, thank you for posting updates.

Stacey is doing very well this morning. His color is good. The doctors feel that there will not be a need for treacheotomy-they think Stacey can breath on his own. He has the hiccups again today which is a good sign. His dad touched his leg this morning and he "flinched". Thank you for the prayers and concerns, please continue to do so. We would like to thank the people that were on the scene that aided Stacey.

Thank you for the help you gave him. Most of all, thank you for the continued prayers. The family asked I thank everyone who gave assistance to Stacey - we cannot express how much it means to all of us.

Thank you for the assistance given to Stacey and staying with him. Our family is very grateful for all the help on the scene and for the prayers lifted on his behalf and the family.
