His history is "well established". He has been "conveniently" furnished with a county job such as patrol sergent, auto theft force officer, K9 handler and mounted patrol, and served as chief deputy under two Rusk County sheriffs. Now he "was furnished" a job in Pct. 4.....Long list of being on salary with the county. His "family" members are also on the salary rolls....Was he and HOT LAURA guilty of their party playing....Hell yes! Who would hire this worthless pile of nothing? He did not have enough sense to hide his skeletons in the closet......How low can Rusk County get?

When a person steps into the public limelight, he or she is subject to scrutiny. These are fair questions. I don't really know about the "hot partying" but what I would really like to know is if he did or didn't beat up his wife? Partying is not illegal most of the time but wife beating is. If he did it how can he run for public office and why would a citizen want a wife beater to serve as sheriff. I do know that his ex wife is a doper so I wonder if he knew that. He carries too much luggage for me. Where there's smoke most of the time there is some fire. I vote no for Norris. I will stick with Pirtle. One vote one opinion.

Check the clerk records to find out if it is true about him. We need him for sherrif about like we need more dry hot weather. He is a bad sneaky apple. Did not know he worked for prec.4
. That is a bad mark for Harold.

They use to be good friends. I don't see how this can help Harold if it is true. I would think Harold would have more sense than that. I'll say it again where there's smoke there's usually some fire. Can I just go to the clerks office and check his record?

Norris' records were expunged from his record. Check to see if that is on record. Mankins record was expunged.

I love Darryl and he is a good man...that's what's wrong with the people in this town you like to talk crap. You didnt have anything bad to say about him when he was on the streets protecting your sorry behinds. Danny is a good guy but so disappointed in his term but that's my opinion. I will vote for Norris because he is an open book if you have any questions about his life just freaking ask him...he wont mind answering them.

Mankins should own about 95% of the RCSO after they railroaded him all those years

All I have to say about you running DN down is all the glass houses that are in this town be careful where you all cast your stones...might break your own windows...at least his closet door is opened and not all locked up with chains on it. Stupid people in a stupid town.

it's not even close in the race as to who the better sheriff is and that sheriff is sheriff pirtle! darryl is a good guy and is more cooler than the sheriff, but we are not talking about who we would rather hang out with or party with, we are talking about who should be in charge of the protection of the citizens of this county. remember that when the election rolls arround, and as for the other gy running the ex-warden why would running a prison make him a good sheriff, he has no idea about law enforcement. its not a prison system.

Whats wrong with "old school"? I'd say you could use a little of it.

Darryl has my vote...nothing against Danny he is a great guy..just don't understand how so much drug activity can go on around Lake Striker and if I am not mistaken, doesn't Danny live in that area? Wouldn't you want to clean up your county especially the area where you live? Before everyone turns this in to a bash board I think either candidate would make a great sheriff and I have nothing but respect for both of these men. When it comes time for the debates go listen to them and see which one of them you like best and then cast your vote. Don't judge anyone by hear say or what someone else thinks about them...keep in mind there is nobody perfect on this earth.

There's drugs other places, not only Lake Stryker. What Norris does on his clock does matter. Shows his character ad the way he handles life. A wife beater would look bad arresting someone else for the same offense.
