I know severol people whom have been in prison or rehabs and have said that they want to go back. They have said it is a vacation from real life. In prison they get 3 meals a day and a bed to sleep their hours away. Out here they may be to poor to eat much, and on to many drugs to sleep right... or they may not hold a job long enough to afford a place to live. In prison there is a level of respect they can earn umong other inmates, where as upon release back into society they are looked down upon for being felons and conns. this leaves them longing for their more comforting prison homes. Sad isn't it. American people all over are poor and homeless yet our crimminals are warm and comfortable?????

I recall when I was in the Navy, one of my shipmates received his discharge after 12 years of service. Two weeks later, he was standing on the pier with tears in his eyes, begging to come back.

Similar syndrome, I think. In both military life and prison life, one's existence is rigidly structured... told when to get up, when to shower, when to eat, etc. People adapt to that and some just can't manage their lives independent of such structure.

Why would you stage a robbery ???? It said he was out of money. So obviously money is a contributing factor in this situation. Why would you just give up on yourself. I think there is something more here. He needs a shrink.

think about it " If he does a real robbery, and gets away, he now has money. If he get caught he goes where he wanted anyways. So why stage it ?????
