LOL....I remember you, clear as a bell....no worries.
Mickey the cue....man the trouble I had with him later when I was the bartender in the Roosevelt across from the old library.....he was a great player (I think he played Jimmy Caras and beat him if I remember correctly), anyway he used to come into the bar doing the drunk act and win one and two dollars from all the hippies on the bar table......but he was a good player.
oh,yeah;there was an old 5x10 pool table, with return pockets in nicks, the last time it was in playable condition was probly in 1973.never saw another one like it..

Hey, Whale 7
Squeaky checking in, who from the old B andD group do you still talk to? I talk to Dick Green every year
around the holidays. Do you ever hear from Nick Prisco or John Pugliese? Some sad news for you if you don't already know, Frank Jahn passed away from cancer Dec. 17, 2008. Do you know anything about Jimmy Kendall-Colorado or Butch Killingback?. Living in Florida still, made it back to New Rochelle in 1996 and checked out the old hangout. Also check out my ex brother-in-laws old restaurant, Cesario's. Had to go to the hospital to check up on some stuff for my mother-in-law, Mrs. Norton. She passed away from Alzheimer's in Nov. 2008. Her husband Alex died in 1983 from a
stroke. My wife, Lynn's brother Alex (Pinkie)died from a stroke in 2002 he just fell over while having lunch. So much for the somber news. I forgot, do you know anything of johnny Giles or George Reale? I recently found that Joe Mahnken does not live to far from me here in Fla. Am going to try to get in touch with him.

Squeaky,
Great to hear from you. I knew Mahnken was in Lady Lake. I was sad for the loss of Frank and Enright. Jahn was my daughters Godfather. Prisco's still in NR on Thomas Place last I heard. Puggy is married and lives in Milford, CT....heard from him last in mid 1990's. I understand most of the old crowd are FL residents now ....I'm on the coast of NC. I talk to Stormy now and then. Don't hear much from the old crowd but would like to know how Skippy and J.Grasso are doing. I'm on Facebook. Keep in touch.

She used to take a taxi to work everyday and as fate would have it Deluxe were running late that day (almost like every day)and buy the time she was approaching the streets were already blocked off.

I served Freddy Cowan a couple of times when I was tending bar, you could always tell something wasnt right.

Read on "New Rochelle Talks" site about Manny Rivera (Yankees) wanting to buy the old church property next to NR City Hall on North Ave. Place has been vacant for years. I belonged to Boy Scout Troop 3A in the '60's which met at that church. Shame to see it waste away.

But to answer your question Brother Love...sure plently of places I didnt work...but even if I didnt work there I probably remember them.
I also worked at the New Rochelle Rec bowling alley...upstairs from Loews movie theatre...and another bowling alley that was on North ave...next to a bar...Lallys White Horse bar and grill?
