CHSPC 31-PCC 1? Are you kidding me? Thats embarassing. In looking at PCC last 5 games and 5 losses, they lost by a combined score of 110-11! 29-2,18-2, 19-4, 31-1,14-2. Man, hey Coach Cleo-C'MON MAN!
I guess he will say he has a young team.

Are you really serious. Coaches, what happened to sportsmanship and not embarrassing the kids.
Remember, when you beat the hell out of someone, it comes back to you. It's sad that high school teams are running up scores like it's a football score.
Just plain SAD!!!!

It's more embarassing to take a knee in the second quarter. Put your weakest kids in and let them play. I'm not telling my kids to strikeout on purpose.

Some of these things can't be avoided. What do you want them to do, just get the players to go to the plate and take every single pitch for the rest of the game? You have to play. You can put your second-stringers in, don't steal bases, don't bunt and get lax but if you're still scoring runs then, what do you want them to do? The LHSAA really needs to make a rule that once a team gets up 15, the game ends immediately--regardless of what inning it is or what part of the inning it is, because 31-1 is not cool at all.

Maybe some of these kids didn't have the advantage of playing from the age of four and having parents who could afford the cost or that really don't support their kids in anything.Sportsmanship used to be a matter of pride but when adults get on here and try to humiliate children who are TRYING and doing something positive i think its so very sad.

Of course it's a different story if we're talking about basketball though, right?

So you're implying that white kids can't play basketball.. You know new roads will never get over their racist, ignorant, childish ways. No wonder so many people leave.. Yes they got their ass whooped but it's just a game. You will die in that parish so yu make everything an argument. Leave the kids alone. The sport is for them.. Not you..

Take it easy on the kids. They really are trying their best. It's just a lot of them are fairly new to the game and don't have a lot of experience. And as you know, baseball is a game that takes a ton of skill. You really have to play it from a young age to succeed in it. You can't just get by on athleticism. A lot of the kids on the team are playing the game for the first time or only have marginal experience. That's why they're struggling--not because they don't have the capacity to be really good or they're not trying.

No, there's no implying, I asked a straight question. No one cried when Rosenwald used to beat the mess out of CHS in the matchbox.

So CHS beats them in baseball (see how i didn't mention black or white, again?) and everyone is up in arms. Not everyone wins a trophy.

I don't think anyone at PCC is crying right now either. This season was better than the last, the kids won more games than they had in the past.
