It seems to me that the people who have given you a chance are fed up. The people who believed in you and voted for you are now wondering why. Of course with the arrogance in Government that we all now see, well, our elected leaders don't care. Why? Arrogance.
That's why.
Tell the people what to do, if they don't do it and enjoy doing it, like the Gestapo, " we'll force them. That is what goes on with Government these days while they pass law after law, stomping freedom into the ground and shredding the Constitution.
There is no freedom in America any more. You buy a piece of land and then pay government to build on your land. Then you pay their taxes to keep your land that YOU worked for. They have the right to take it away anytime they want for any reason they want. The more luxurious your home the more you pay them. The more land you own, the more you pay them. The more you earn at your job, the more they want. Sell your land, you pay them again. And what do they do with the money? Why, they create more laws to take more. Over and over again. Try to make something of yourself and there they are, standing right there waiting to take it from you. Am I the only one who see's this?

And then there's Bud's storm troopers. Working Airline highway and writing ticket after ticket to fund a broke government. Take a hundred bucks here, Two hundred bucks there from working class people who don't make nearly as much as his salary, that many of these people pay. Sure, why not? Why shouldn't the Sheriff help fund the Livonia corporation? Nothing wrong with towing as many cars as you can or writing 6 tickets to one driver so they can pay for a sewer system that no one needed and continue to charge the townspeople a monthly fee at the same time. Not a thing in the world wrong with that , right? Nothing wrong with making sure Gary Zito whose wife works for Mr. Torres, tows a pile of cars each month,"now is there? No conflict of interest there , now is there? Nothing wrong with good ole boy stuff while they get rich while basically stealing from you , right? Nothing wrong with your paying them more than once or twice or three times to do their jobs. Don't you wish you could do that?
If they over spend , " guess who pays for it? If they need more," guess where they get it?
Look in the mirror.
Anyone care to answer why they don't solve the real crime? Here's a tip. Because it's hard and it doesn't pay. Writing tickets and towing cars pays and pays well. Often this is why you see police officers sitting on the sides of the road in the high crime area of Rosedale road. Or Penny's diner. Or the Barber shop in Livonia. Or the Livonia Chevron. Sitting in the crime riddled parking lot of LA. Express to scrutinize every driver that passes down Airline highway stops crime. Wouldn't you agree?
Sure they spend countless thousands and every now and then catch someone with a bit of dope. And whose face graces the banner after thousands of thousands spent?
That is NOT where they get their money folks. The dopers they bust have nothing, or they wouldn't be trying to make it illegally. They put them in jail and you pay for it. You pay for their attorneys/public defenders, their housing, their medical, their dental and if some fat arrogant guard screws up, you pay for their law suits too.
Do you really believe that these people would rather bust some guy with a pound of Marijuana who can't afford bail? Or stop 50 cars a day and write tickets and tow cars? Be honest with yourselves.
The 50 cars a day will pay upwards of $10,000.00. The one guy with the pound of Marijuana every now and then costs more money than that just to catch him and in the long run, a lot more. But lets make it look like we're actually accomplishing something because the people who foot the bill are stupid and they will never know. That's you and I folks.
Are these people really fighting crime?
When is the last time you retrieved stolen property? Never?
Have they ever shown up in time to prevent a burglary? Well? Have they? What about this? Your alarm goes off. Someones breaking into your home but the nearest cop is writing a ticket in front of Pennys diner. Think they're going to stop what they're doing for you? None of you are being protected or served. You're their own personal cash registers. Believe it.
I voted for Mr. Torres. It will be a dammed cold day in hell before I do that again unless something changes with his meat boys.More than half his administration needs to GO. Yesterday wasn't soon enough.
I'm aware that I spoke of Government in this. Some might say that the local authorities are not Government. That is a big lie. They are the front lines that protect the most unlawful of all. They protect the same people who have bankrupted America. The same people responsible for the bailouts of JP Morgan Chase who were in bed with them the entire time. They protect the Wall street bankers who are in bed with the very same people you elect. The laws are written to protect Government entities, not YOU. You're just the cash register who pays for it.

If these people really wanted to stop crime, they'd start at the top and work their way down. Not on Airline highway. Think about it. PRS needs to run in the next election. He may not do any better but I doubt he will do worse. Any improvement would be an improvement

Ok you have a good point about what you saying. I live in Livonia and I can say the Livonia cops do a great job they can improve on some things. They do write a lot of tickets and tow vehicles but there has to be a reason why they are towing the vehicles. We can agree there is not a lot of crime in Livonia why because the Livonia cops are always out and sometimes they have to go out side of the city limits because the Sheriffs Office is never around. The Sheriffs Office likes to stay in Morganza or Pointe Coupee General. They have streets to Patrol not sit at the hospital because there wife works there and some go there to hit on the women that work there. I know this because I have a friend that works at the hospital. What about the deputy that sits at the overpass in Livonia almost all night. He might be the only deputy that stays in his area but we can all agree Livonia dont need any help inside the city. The Sheriffs Office needs to patrol the parish not Livonia City Limits. Bud wake up and come out at night and see what the deputies are really doing. I am done I hope Paul Raymond does run he will get my vote. I voted for Bud what a mistake I made.

The white folk and the black folk are going to put PRS back in office. The whole parish will vote him back in. We all know what is best for our parish. Black and white folk. Does that answer your question?

A week or so ago I was getting gas and talking with my buddy at the pump next to me and saw four sheriff's patrol vehicles in the Subway parking lot. At first I thought maybe there was a problem then I saw the uniformed deputies were hanging out laughing and cutting up, every now and then one of them would walk over to their vehicle and check something, I guess the radio, then go right back to shootin' the sh*t. Basically the whole damn parish was unprotected. All four deputies on duty were in the Subway parking lot. How long do you think it would take them to get to a burglary or assault call in the northern part of PC parish, or anywhere else. Shouldn't the deputies be spread out over the parish??

There is really no need for anyone else to run for Sheriff. PRS will win. I hear he has a team already in place to do a job on drug dealing in the Parish that's unprecedented. He's talked to people that he's sure have the knowledge and positive potential to work all sorts of angles in smoking out the criminals that don't have any idea whats going to hit them. These special agents will be places throughout the Parish in areas that have never been penetrated. I can't wait to see what takes place when he is back in command. It will be big time and heads are going to roll! GO PRS!
