Oh please....get off it! Now wait a damn minute! It's because of people like you that say oh leave em alone! As if this were her first offense and then her own family cant learn a damn lesson after her own flesh and blood KILLED someone (that means they will NEVER come back) because evidently you are severely unaware! Yet and still they are drinking and driving!!!! The saturday after Tori killed innocent sweet Terri, she was seen drinking at Satterfields. Do you think she had a designated driver.......DOUBTFUL! So yes she does need to go to Prison...I pray she does and that justice gets served for Terris poor distraught family. Imagine if it were your child!! And lets not talk about her sick twisted didnt give a damn attitude that night. What a pure disgrace! I PRAY she gets what she deserves!

Come to Fluidz this Saturday night and I will get drunk and beat your azz. When its all over and you get out the hospital I want you to forgive me and let me go my own way without the police getting involved. I think we will both admit that I made a mistake and being drunk wasn't my fault. I am sure that I can blame some member of my family or the owner of the bar or maybe even blame you for me losing control and beating your azz. Hey... maybe I can even say that "God wanted it to happen, he controls all things". The only difference is you will still be alive. That's a real good deal for you don't you think? According to you Jesus will forgive me. Why do we not want our people to be responsible for what they do? Its a cop out to use Jesus in this insanity. Ever study ancient law before, during and after the birth and death of Christ. I don't think you want to use that kind of justice today. Lets just leave Jesus out of this and you come meet me Saturday and we will see how "forgiving" you want to be when the sun comes up. You will not feel the same when you are wearing Terry's shoes. See you there?
sorry

<quoted text>I don't like that a life was lost. And, I don't like the fact this family is not monitoring their other family members after such a a horrific accident where an innocent life was lost forever. I have mixed feelings about both families of each involved. It's like a nail finally nailing the coffin shut when this Stevie got a DUI, Hey, I don't want to loose a loved one to a drunk driver either. I blame our laws more than anyone driving drunk. If La. had a law that took the Lic. from a first time offender for a year or two, I guarantee things would change. Take away their car and Lic.and, I bet they would never want to be in that situation again. The Law is the Problem!
I agree with most of your post except its not the laws fault. Its the politicians fault. If there was a strict adherence to the law and all these little tickets were enforced instead of being "get out of jail free" cards then things would not escalate to the major crime. Go ask the sheriff and DA how many tickets he thinks he will have fixed during his tenure. It starts at the bottom. A life of privilege with money and influence controlling what happens instead of the law. They can make all kinds of laws. Look at Tori's record (that we know). Cop in baton rouge said he had to roll his window down because the smell of alcohol was so strong. She got off. The new roads pd documented the scene of the accident at hospital road with her drunk rampage and the sheriff let her out before she could even sober up. In both cases everybody said they were following the law. And I am sure they all did. Bu!!$h!t. The laws are not made to fix the problem. Only dance around it. If the DA, Sheriff and Judges fixed this problem by enforcing the laws already on the books they would never make it past one term. So I need to change my statement. Its our fault for not making our politicians do their job and instead selling our vote to get a little dispensation.

Laws can be posted til the cows come home. Impartial enforcement of the penalties; now THAT would take a bite out of crime! But there would BE less of a problem if all people could police themselves by not mixing drinking with driving. I don't drink and drive either and it's no problem for me but some people just can 't seem to say no. I know a woman whose son wrecked both of her cars while driving drunk. She now has no car, but admits if she had one, she wouldn't be able to deny it to him. Even knowing hell probably KILL himself with the car she loaned him evidentally can't give her the strength she needs to say no. Can someone explain this one to me?
I can explain it to you. She is a looser. Anybody who cannot stand up to their children to instill good behavior is just passing the problem on to their kids. No doubt her son has no respect for her either. That is sad. But I do agree with you post. There are a lot of people out there that do not know how to be parents. They try and buy their kids love instead of being a roll model that they will respect and eventually pattern a portion if not most of their life after. A much greater love will come later once the kid grows up and wonders how their parents were able to do it. The kids will remember all the dumb stuff they did and how mom and dad didn't let them get away with it all.

LEAVE THESE POOR GIRLS ALONE MY A@@. YOU KNOW WHEN VICTORIA GOT HER FIRST DWI. MAYBE IF SOMETHING WAS DONE THEN TERRI PARKER WOULD BE ALIVE RIGHT NOW.SHE GOT AWAY WITH IT ONCE SO SHE TRIED IT AGAIN ONLY TO CLAIM THE LIFE OF AN INNOCENT PERSON. SO I PERSONALLY BELIVE SHE SHOULD ROT IN JAIL. AND THE SAD THING IS SHE DID NOT LEARN THEN SO SHE WON'T LEARN NOW

The people are lighting these matches because it's absolutely ridiculous that this girl would do anything close to drinking and driving after her sister drove drunk, killed someone, severly injured someone else less than a year ago, brought shame to the family and will eventually go to prison. That's unbelievable.
The DWI reports in the advocate last week listed Stevie Gosserand and her address in Ventress. So there is no disputing that it IS her, she DID drive drunk, and she WAS arrested. What a crying shame.

I seen her at a school function drunk. Pretty sure she attend a catholic school. What a great way to show off yourself. But like said JUST SAYING,
I do agree with some it think that her sister is in a bond with drunk driving, she would think twice about doing it.

When I was growing up, we didn't have any courses on how to be a parent. You just copied how your parents raised you, good or bad. Maybe our schools already have some kind of course on parenthood, but if not, I'd sure like to see a good one with mandatory attendance installed. I know some schools have the programmed babies but what kind of guidance is available for the next 18 years of their lives? Isn't school supposed to prepare one for adulthood? Our kids aren't stupid; throw in some finance classes too!

Why is everyone making such a big deal? Let's be honest...is it bc she is white? What about the accident on levee road where a young black girl was killed by black driver who was intoxicated? Oh, that's right...everyone forgot about them bc they were black!

Race is irrelavent in this case. If you remember, Kyle Riviere--who was seriously injured in the wreck--is white. People are so angry because this case is in the forefront and all over the news because of Tori's rich family--unlike the other case. Also, Tori was already arrested for a DWI months before the accident. She only spent about an hour in jail and was still drunk when she released while Terri Parker was dead and Kyle Riviere was in an emergency room. She is obviously a spoiled little rich girl that thinks she can get away with anything because her grandpa is loaded. And finally, let me remind you of something. Everyone has been made aware that Tori was yelling and cursing as Terri Parker lay dead on the ground and Kyle Riviere lay broken and battered, trapped inside something that used to be his car. THAT is why everyone is so angry at Tori--not because she's white. She deserves it all.

How many times have the people posting comments on this site got behind the wheel after 1 or more drinks. even JUST one is one too many!!! I'm not taking up for anyone. What is right is right, and what is wrong is wrong. No one has a right to judge. I know plenty people who drink and drive. It is not right. Instead of posting nasty comments on this site, PRAY for these families involved in this horrible tragedy. Pray for yourself and what could happen to your own self if and when you decide to make bad choices for whatever the reason. Look in your own backyard and PRAY !

Don't get too hastey to confuse judging with wanting to see Tori punished for what she is soley responsible for: the death of a young lady and the injuring of a young man. That's really just the tip of the iceberg. Do you know how many peoples' lives she has effected negatively with her decision that night? Kyle will be effected the rest of his life, Terri's family and her friends--Tori has hurt all of them. I do not judge her. I'm not saying she is a bad person. What I am saying is that she needs to pay and pay deerly for the tragedy she caused on December 23, 2009.
