The Zoning Commission may discuss an application to put a 121,000-square-foot shopping center on the cornfield property off Junction Road Thursday as legal fees begin to mount for the board to defend itself from an appeal filed by the property's owner.

this is what happens when we have people in charge/in places/on commissions where they have NO ACTUAL EXPERIENCE.
being on a board/commission for 30 years doesn't mean you know what you are doing- time for a change people! Let's get some educated/PROFESSIONAL individuals in these places- there are many out there that'd love to help... or better yet... can you say hired town planner?

I do not think a lawsuit will happen because the chances of a brookfield zone change on this property is remote. This possible lawcase is standard pratice just in case this 1 in 10 chance of a zone change happens. It will have small legal fees to protect brookfield in the early stages of this possible larger lawcase.
