Judge: New law no help for cops who removed imams

A judge says a law passed in response to a lawsuit filed by six imams who were removed from a US Airways flight does not apply to law enforcement officers.

So let me get this straight, we have a law that protects the "average joe" or "Josephine" when they report a potential crime in good faith yet the police who respond to that call and carry out the appropriate actions in response to this call are not.

So basically in order for a police officer to arrest someone they not only hae to uphold the law but also have the knowledge, skill, and ability to judge that law.

hmm does anyone else see a problem here? Maybe cops not making arrests unless they are absolutely positive that the arrest will lead to a conviction and not a lawsuit. Boy I feel safer!

A friend of mine brought up an interesting observation, the fruits of Obama's labor will come to fruition in about 4 years. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if he were re-elected then at least he would be responsible for cleaning up his own mess.
