Outrage! This monies should have been used to help the poor and starving eat or get more programs for them to get help, instead of for more recreaton for the rich biking yuppies. just another example of stealing from the poor and giving services to the rich.
Who would have thought

If I'm not mistaken, poor people are certainly entitled to use the Towpath too...

In case you don't believe me that I am poor, I make less than $600 a month and am NOT on public assistance and am a full time college student. Poor people are entitled to ride bikes too. It's not all "rich yuppies" who use the towpath.

You would have the government stop spending money to support public recreational areas? Rich, poor and people hanging onto the middle use these areas and it is one of the few bright spots of North East Ohio.

The poor hoodies of Akron will be able to get all the help they need when they start robbing people on the path anyways so what's your point?

Those that are screaming about the poor, what are you doing to help?

If you are helping I apologize

We are middle class, and all we are doing is passing it on. For they have helped us many years ago. Now we are able to help them.

My wife goes to the Crises Center Three days a week to help those that need help or assistance them in filling out the paper work.
They also are able to help direct them to other sources for help if they are on able to help.

They are also set up to supply them with food; clothing and furniture. They also Serve Hot Meals.

I am quite sure Akron also has Crises Center thought out The city, same as Cleveland has.

There is help out there for those that are having a hard time. So don't let anyone tell you that people don't care, and the help anyway they can.

If you want to help you can donate Food; Clothing
and Furniture.
You can also donate your time helping them to help others, and they need that help.
