Danbury man with cash in trunk had previous drug arrest

Police on Wednesday said the Danbury man found with $50,000 in his trunk during a traffic stop Monday was the same person who allegedly tried to bribe a New York City cop after a major drug bust four years ago.

Let me see... in 05 the cops were called for noise disturbance with pounds of pot and cash laying around. This time he was speeding with fifty grand in the trunk. He has to be the dumbest criminal I have ever seen. If someone gave me fifty large, I would never speed again!

sure it was from drugs but innocent until proven guilty
