Trent Popp and Kyle Fox are unstopable from Danville! No one can compare or work any better than them two together!

Apparently, you missed their game against Tri-West. Popp is a dirty player and should have been sent off in that game.

However, their ability to score goals on weak opponents is quite impressive.

They will be able to share stories of their soccer exploits with their co-workers at McDonald's once they graduate.

Yep, Popp and Fox are very dirty players. The longer they go without scoring the dirty they are.

It's easy to score against crap opponents. When was the last time Danville played a Lawrence Central, Carmel, North Central, etc, etc, etc.

Get serious.

Heritage Christian couldn't get the lights turned on for boys City Tournament. Not their fault. Game rescheduled to next evening. Tournament host Chatard refused to refund admission to those who could not attend the rescheduled game, many of whom traveled all the way from the west side of town. So, where is the integrity in that? How can you operate a school with no class?

One, your in louisville Kentucky, so how would you know anything about Indianapolis soccer. However you are correct that the quality of opponents that Danville plays are not the same as some of the bigger schools. But if you will notice all the players in the top ten except for Hall play for schools that have weaker schedules than Danville.

The talk of Popp and Fox being dirty players is ridiculous, especially Popp. The officiating in the Tri-West game was an absolute JOKE. The Tri-West team was far dirtier than Danville was. Every time they went up in the air they were being undercut, and when the tri-west players would occasionally go up all they did was throw elbows. Your season was nice, have fun losing to Brownsburg tommorrow.

As for the Cascade game, Danville just played absolutley terrible. There was no excuse. However tommorrow when you play them on Avon's field it will be totally different. For anyone that hasn't seen Cascade's field it is by far the sorriest thing i've ever seen called a soccer field in my life. It's complete dirt, with random patches of grass dispersed throughout, its a joke.

No, I'm in Indianapolis, my IP address is in Louisville, KY. A month ago it was in St. Louis, MO and about 3 months before that it was in South Bend, IN.

Secondly, I know quite a bit about Indiana High School soccer. Danville might have a few good players, but they absolutely could not compete with the Carmels, North Centrals, Lawrence Centrals, etc. My sister could score 5 goals a game against the teams Danville plays.

The accomplishments of Fox and Popp are worth noting when you consider that they are constanly double and triple teamed, and fouled relentlessly by opposing teams.

Anyone-coach, official, or unbiased knowledgeable soccer fan who has seen them play knows that they would both be major contributors to ANY HS team.

Don't underestimate the acccomplishmnts Fox, Popp and other players from small schools. It is the depth of talent that makes Carmel, N Central, Brownsburg, etc. the quality programs they are. No one is saying that Danville,or Tri-West or Cascade should be in the top 20, but they do have some very talented players.

Who would be riding the pine at a school like Carmel, NC, or LC

What are the general thoughts on International? They've got quite a few kids ranking towards the top on the stats especially both of the Oluyedun boys. Although they don't play alot f the big teams they are still a new team who has only been in the IHSAA for three years. Thoughts? Will they win their first sectional?

Too bad we didn't have your sis today, maybe we wouldn't have had to go to a shootout!!!!

Seriously, Great game Warriors Defense-Wilson,Jackson,Schmidt ,Hufford and GK Brewer! What a battle. Thanks Avon for playing a spirited, intense game while keeping it clean.

Danville soccer just won sectionals against Avon!!!!! They have a VERY good chance of winning regionals because they play Ben Davis, and Avon beat Ben Davis in the regular season, so... GO DANVILLE!!!!

That has no bearing on the way the teams will play in the tournament....None whatsoever. Where did they play the first game? Were the Giants missing players, was it a rain game, an early morning weekend game, are the exact same players participating? Perhaps BD had an injured striker, or goalkeeper? Perhaps a new formation now?

Danville controlled the tempo and took Avon out of it's game with agressive, physical play at both ends of the field. Brewer played the game of his life in goal. If they continue to play that way, there's no reason why they can't go DEEP into the state tournament.

GO WARRIORS!!!!!

I never said they couldn't. I firmly believe that on any day, any team can beat any other team. However, to think that the way a team performed against another several weeks, perhaps even two months ago has any influence on the game about to be played....is ridiculous.
