Please don't be disrespectful towards these young boys, they have families that loved them and that are hurting from this loss. Calling them idiots and morons isn't going to bring Aaron, Tyler or Amy back so whats the point.

Who said anything about wanting them back... If this accident was destined to happen, I'm glad it was a tree that was hit, not more innocent lives...

We moved to Morristown (right down the road from New Palestine) 18 years ago to get our kids out of Indy for the obvious reasons. My daughter lost her best friend, my son lost his best friend, in two seperate accidents. It's dangerous business, driving in the country. My heart goes out to the families.

Driving in the country is no more dangerous than driving anywhere else.Driving irresponsibly in the country is what makes for most of the deadly accidents.

No. But if you read the article you would see that both boys had suspended licenses and one had an outstanding warrant. That IS a clue!

They should have smoked that pot they had on them...then they would have been doing 10mph instead of 100. And that little girl (stupid as she was) would still be alive.

STOP being disrespectful to these young kids. Remember they are just kids. We all make mistakes and I knew them all personally. My heart goes out to each family. That girl, loved that boy for past 3 years or more.

I know how New Pal works...We all kind of travel together. So if there were three NP kids at that party, that means there were likely many more NP students/grads there. The only thing we can hope for is that those kids who survived that night can stop and think a little bit more next time. Maybe this will prevent other accidents later down the road.

My thoughts are with their friends and families and teachers.

These boys had no respect for the law, and had no respect for anyone else on the road. Respect is something you erned by your actions.

Did you say party?? Teen age kids?? 4:30 A.M.?? Where are the parents??

Police need to investigate this one a little more...

Do young adults really travel at over 100 MPH for no reason??

Well I guess you never lived in the country to see the farmers and people that run the stop signs. Cresting a hill or around a curve a meet a tractor pulling a plow that is wider than the road it's on. But that is ok. Three children still lost their lives. And yes driving in the country is a little more dangerous.

Instead of lecturing complete strangers on a forum, you would be better off lecturing your own child of the dangers of driving irresponsibly. Reckless driving by teens is a real problems these days and you should put your parenting skills to use by this unfortunate incident instead of arguing with strangers who probably don't care about your opinion.

Yes I lived in the country for the better part of my life and very few accidents are not caused by irresponsible driving. Speeding is the main culpret. There are just as many dangerous cenarios in city driving and most accidents are still caused by irrisponsible drivers.I suppose you think the tree is at fault for being in the way of a driver going nearly 100mph.
