Seriously, moving Chamber of Commerce offices to the center of town is not going to put it more in touch with the town itself. It will however create more parking difficulty in the already congested square.

The members of those nonprofit groups are individual taxpayers and should not have to pay a fee on top of the taxes they already paid for that space. And, that space is going to accrue costs whether anyone is in it or not.

We've got to stop electing mentally challenged people to public office.

It is a very good idea to tax these so-called 'non-profits'. Anyone who believes that those places do not make boo-koo amounts of moolah like United Way, Salvation Army, any non profits, etc, deserved to be fooled and ripped off. That is one big reason I will never donate. Because the money simply never goes to what they say it goes to. Some of those orgs. are among the most profitable and affluent in the world. The sad thing is, most of them hide behind a disguise that they are only for the good of our residents to help them. Yeah right. Who here in Hanover truly believes that? Let's hear it.

Then we'll have to pretty much cancel all future elections.

You can always donate the nominal fee for the non-profit for the use of the space. It costs money to turn on the lights, heat/cool the room and clean it. Should the taxpayer have to pay for it?

In regards to the "mentally challenged" comment, I look forward to seeing your name on the ballot the next election cycle.
